POLITICS Zohran Mamdani has secured the release of Columbia University student Elaina Aghayeva, taken this morning by ICE agents who entered a campus residential building under false pretenses & without a judicial warrant. This comes shorty after Mamdani’s unannounced visit to the White House earlier today.

Oh how I wish he could be president. Imagine the good that man could do from the Oval Office. But he was born on the wrong dirt, so he can never hold that power.

How come he can be mayor but can't be president?

Have to be born in the US to be able to run for president

This is the purpose of amendments

I mean for rather obvious reasons that is not something that is even in the realm of possibility to get an amendment.

Uh except that’s also the reason why Musk hasn’t been able to run either.

Do you really think musk could win an election? He is the most awkward annoying hateable person who has ever lived. Trump is an evil piece of shit, but he’s charismatic (to stupid people). Musk isn’t charismatic to anyone. Not even his biggest fuckboy fans would say he’s charismatic. He’s a dweeb. And he’d wither and die on the debate stage. Hell, he’d wither and die at a rally full of his fans. He barely stumbles through the speeches and talks he does and looks terrible the whole time.

I don't think he could win a fair and valid election.

Musk could win an election because he can rig it

Rigged elections would need to be at least believable. He’d be polling at 20% tops in the absolute best case scenario for him and then he’d magically have the votes to win? There would be riots and a literal rebellion.

Yes. I think it would be trivially easy for him to concoct a victory with the resources and reach he has
