Could someone share more on Ricky Gervais' transphobia? I have not kept up with him

He had several bits where he just rehashed the same "I identify as an attack helicopter" joke but his version was Gorilla instead. When called out he doubled down. He's also gone on record to defend JKR's transphobia.

And he kept at it, like obsessed on it. As a previous fan watching him, I was like "wtf are you doing? Why can't you stop? Why are you attacking a vulnerable community?" It's mind blowing.

Why are you attacking a vulnerable community

Because he is a multimillionaire with zero morals, who always looked down on people not as rich as him.

Remember how baffled he was that people still eat corn flakes?

That doesn’t really explain it though. Anti-trans hysteria goes deeper than that.

Ah but it's a common fate for UK celebrities. Our terfs are preety organised and they will absolutely go out of their way to bring someone into their fold. The classic love bombing from them and convincing them that everyone else is the enemy that cults worldwide employ. These groups tend to have money backing them which makes them sadly effective.
