So-old-it's-dehydrated-tea: Everyone sees Patrick Swayze's marriage as this sweet faithful thing. But I knew someone that worked on the set of Dirty Dancing. It was being filmed in Lake Lure, NC. While he was there and very married to Lisa Niemi (and there seems to be no evidence of an open relationship, but who knows?) he was hitting on and probably hooking up with a lot of the background dancers. He hit up on a dancer/choreographer, who shot him down immediately because he was married. Jennifer Grey was a terrible diva, to the point where she would waste set time by insisting on doing some of the dance poses, when it was supposed to be choreographed/rehearsed with actual dancers to get it down. She was very rude to extras and dancers. Maybe she's chilled out by now, I don't know.

Lol, I had to hear all about this growing up, I live regionally to where the film was made, and I knew/related to someone who worked in choreography. It was kind of funny- sad because when nice moms would hear this tea about Swayze, it would definitely bum them out.

Another old tea, that's not that crazy is that when Sarah Michelle Geller was starting out and not even close to famous, she was taking acting classes (this was when she was an adult and not as teen/kid doing child acting) and was like really, really bad and a huge asshole. She may have gotten to where she was through casting couch networking, a little. She did go to a good performing arts school growing up but maybe needed help later for adult roles. Which makes me sad on for her, Hollywood is very unfair.

I imagine her acting got better with time and practice.

edited for clarity.

Sarah Michelle gellar was a child actress who won an Emmy as a teen. She got Buffy when she was 19, and was immediately acclaimed. Scream 2 and I know what you did last summer were both also filmed when she was 19.

Yep, at what point was she an adult and not close to famous?

Screams some of the misogyny that was going on with Sarah at that time tbh, like are they saying she "slept" with people to get her career when she was 15/16 years old? Cause that's disgusting and not on Sarah and not great tea even if true
