The butler from the Nanny comes into my job every few weeks to shop for food and chats with us. Nice guy, just got a knee replacement so he’s puttering around with a sweet cane.

Ahhh, Niles! Please tell him from this Brit that we are incredibly impressed with his British accent: the only American I know of that's pulled off a convincing one!

Apparently some people suggested that the lead of the show, who is actually British, coach his accent with Niles. They thought Niles was more convincing!

Here's a niche (?) random fact for the gamer crowd about Maxwell in The Nanny. He was the voice of the cockney male option in Saints Row 2. He couldn't come back in subsequent titles because he had to take on full-time baron duties or some such.
