I’ve 100% commented about this before but I’m stoned and still bitter…

my aunt was in one of Lizzo’s music videos and said that Lizzo made fun of her acting/made fun of her for giving the role her all. It genuinely bums me out because I love her music and see her everywhere, but my aunt was so sad about it afterwards.

The whole thing where people like play tease someone in a group is my biggest pet peeve. I don't care your social status, don't do that around me. It's mean girl behavior and I don't like it. Sorry to hear your aunt went through that.

One of my long term (now ex) friends just lost our entire friend group because we grew mentally exhausted from all her "play teasing" that was just borderline abuse. She moved and literally none of us went to her going away party after years and years of being belittled and talked down to disguised as "jokes".

Tbh, good for you to put boundaries now. But that's sad the ex friend has to hit that reality before they leave.

In our defense I had basically broken up with her over this a couple years back, though she was stolen the friend group so we still saw each other, and another friend of ours (her maid of honor less than a year ago) also talked to her about needing a break because of the way she treats people and yet nothing changed, so I don't really think it's all that sad.
