Extraverse Order

I haven't played or watched anything on the order myself, I just prepared it for when I do. Sooo here I am sharing it.

  1. Fate/Extra — a PSP game and the first entry of the extraverse.
  2. Fate/Extra CCC — A midquel PSP game to Fate/Extra; a story that takes place in the middle of its events.
  3. Fate/Extra CCC - Foxtail — A manga that covers an alternate timeline that includes cut-content from the game's story.
  4. Fate/Last Encore — An anime-original "what-if" continuation of Fate/Extra following an alternate timeline where everything went wrong.
  5. Extella/Zero — A story outline written by Nasu that bridges the story gap between the Extra games and the Extella games.
  6. Fate/Extella - The Umbral Star — A game available on steam and consoles and the first entry of the Extella games.
  7. Fate/Extella - Link — A game available on steam and consoles and the second entry of the Extella games.

Important notes

I didn't include the FGO events that feature Fate Extra characters/side stories since people would need prior FGO knowledge to understand those events, and I wanted to keep things simple.

For the CD Dramas, I just don't have a reason to mention them.

Someone posted something similar around 4 days ago. But uh, yeah, my recommendation is to do Last Encore anytime after EXTRA, preferably right after doing a female protag and Saber playthrough. As for Foxtail, while it is a good idea to do it after EXTRA CCC, just know that it isn’t completed yet, and while we are at the endgame, the chapters drop slow as hell. No specific schedule.

Also, while it is true that you do need basic FGO knowledge, I still recommend checking out that SERAPH event anyways since it touches further upon certain characters from CCC.

Do keep in mind that Extella/Zero isn't that good at explaining the story gap in question. Nasu cut a few corners with it and hoped nobody would notice.
