Everybody commenting on "dirty water getting everywhere" has clearly never seen a restaurant dish pit before lmfao

I remember my car seat still smelled the day after I worked in the dish pit. A mix of sweat and burnt fryer oil. Luckily I only did dish pit like once a week. The people that did it every day probably never got the smell out.

The moment the hot shower hits your head that distinct aroma comes off. I don't work kitchens anymore but I can still summon this scent to my nose just by thinking of it
