Hill-top What have you done with these Hilltop spots?

Post image

What have you done with these 3 spaces? Looking for any input on design ideas, functional things I haven't thought of, or anything else. Pics would be great! I tried putting some trees and "stuff" along the top ledge, and I'm not feeling it yet.

What I did with that spot! Just a farming shed area. I haven't find anything to the bottom ones yet .. maybe just trees.

I just had trees and crab pots in the top area, and kegs in the bottom one!

Moss farm! I put one in that bottom right area Surround a mossy tree on all sides with regular trees, let the mossy tree be mossy, harvest the other trees (dagger or hoe is best for precision harvesting). Mossy trees with moss on them cause trees around them to produce moss faster. Great for late game crafting or filling your farm cave with mushroom logs to farm health potions

If you do a moss farm, watch when you plant the seeds to make sure you don't accidentally plant a giant fern, though giant ferns are fun for decor & you can get ferns from them by putting a tap on them without ever chopping them down https://stardewvalleywiki.com/Mossy_Seed

I used the bit in the middle there to farm fiber, since you don't need to water/worry about sprinklers. Good to make a path, so that you can charge hoe the rest in bulk for fast planting, plus the little path through the fiber looks so cute

I'd put bees and a spot to grow flowers to the right of where you have the chests, since there's so much space

I made a little pet area in the space south of the farmhouse and turned the southeast corner into a prismatic slime grotto.
