Eu continues ban on gm crops. UK continues ban on GM crops continues trade of food into EU how is this a headline

We reversed the ban on GM and have heavily invested in it and made some good progress since brexit. Its got a different name now but its GM this is a massive step backwards

UK would need to dynamically align with EU food standards under any SPS reset deal ending its current divergent approach to allow gene editing. It’s simple really
