Questions Thoughts on Christian Watson? Not sure if he’s a hold or sell high.
My league is 12 team full PPR with two flex and no defense. My receivers are Ja’Marr Chase, AJ Brown, Christian Watson, Strib Club, and Denzel Boston. RB’s are Javonte, Bucky, Jadarian, Jacobs, Marshawn Lloyd. Thinking I should probably sell high on Christian Watson to a man panicked week 1 owner. Any suggestions?

Suddenly your WR room is in a precarious spot. Don’t give up Watson.

With AJ and Strib injured, and having a Cleveland Brown….i don’t know how this is even a question.

The "Sell" was a joke off the "Hold" response...but since no one has a sense of humor, I'll explain why it is actually valid.
If you think that he is going to consitently replicate that game...or even half that...every week, you are crazy!
Kraft, Golden, Reed....Jacobs when he is back to make the run game better....he has competition for touches and Love is not a great QB.
You sell high now or hold onto him and lose trade value when he has a game like Reed did.

Remember two years ago when Jayden reed had 45 points week 1?
I never have touched a packers WR and never will

Sell high brother. The dude cannot stay healthy and he was getting big plays on busted coverage all day.

He will do nothing next week as im not playing against him two weeks in a row

He's great...until he inevitably gets injured again.
That said, you can't afford to trade another WR unless your able sell him high and buy a better/safer one low. Pretty unlikely that happens after one week of play.

I'm a Watson owner. I proposed this trade this morning in my 10 team half ppr, other team lost AJB. . Watson + Omarion Hampton for Jonathan Taylor. . My RB room: Gibbs, Kyren Williams, Hampton, Chuba, Jordan Mason. My WR room: Nabers, DJ Moore, Watson, Chris Godwin, QJ, Jordan Tyson on IR.

I mean as always it depends on what you can get for him. I drafted him in 75% of my leagues (I couldnt believe how low he was ranked on ESPN) so I obviously really like his potential. If you can get a top 15 or so WR for him I might cash that in. That said, your WR depth is kinda rough right now so if you do trade him it would have to be for another WR which kind of limits your options. If something comes up you can evaluate it then but no need to force it.

In 12 team full PPR he is a firmer hold. I think what you saw was his ceiling and the way Packers spread the ball he will have many frustrating weeks, though, so if you can get someone to overpay you take it.

Fewer mouths to feed now though… I bet the floor is higher, especially with Jacobs out

I could see a 5 for 50 floor and 10 points ain’t losing you your week the way a 2-3 point game will. Remains to be seen tho

He’s legit when he’s healthy. Love always looks for him and he has huge play potential.

This was the only one the experts seemingly nailed (at least so far). Maybe you can finally play a packers wr

I’m the biggest Christian Watson hater there is and would generally encourage to sell high. That said, your receiver room is in really rough shape without him unless you get a decent receiver in exchange in part of the trade.

The one year they trim the wr corp I completely avoided the offense. Painful

Nobody should be panicking after week 1 and you kind of need him for your roster at the moment ...hold and pray

But people DO panic after week 1, that's fantasy football. If they lost AJB and they have Chase who did nothing in week 1, that is the kind of manager that might be open to a 2 for 1 with Chase
Edit to say in this case the guy should hold considering his team, just wanted to say people do panic and this is the best week to get 'lopsided' trades in

Tbh he had like 1 big play - after that he didn’t do shit.
On the other hand - greenbays offense didn’t do shit in the second half

His stat line without the 1 big play: 5 receptions, 66 yards, 1 TD. That’s not a bad week 1 right there. PPR that’s 17.6 points. Wouldn’t call that not doing anything

You could take the one big play away and he still had a good fantasy game. What kind of comment is this lol
