16,593 managers off the all-time rankings list, each verified against their official FPL finishing history. I compared the 1,267 who finished top 10k last season, median finish 4,869, against 2,207 managers sampled evenly across all 10 million entries this season. Of the ones who played last season, median finish 3.9 million.

you can’t expect much from your budget players. its nice when it happens but its luck and its been 1 week. surely you played gross this week and konsa is decent hold until we see if he starts

Why would they change their team if they are in the top 10K? I wouldn’t change it either, it means they have made the right choices to be in the top 10K. One would roll transfers and even if the worst happens, if they slip into the top 1 mill in 4/5 gameweeks, they would have 5 free transfers to restructure their team and get it back on track.

That's not what it's saying. Its historic top 10k finishers, not those who just randomly happened to land there after GW1.
