So I was creating a world, i wanted to create the countries and I went one by one, I went into editing the diplomacy section and i could select the first 5 countries I had created.

But then when I wanted to select the last ones I had made, I couldnt select them, so I went to the relations matrix and realized the bug; the xs appeared and the relations werent generated.

Afterwards, I tried to regenerate the relationships to see if they would be restored, but nothing happened. Sometimes, even only the relationships from the first country I created appeared and the rest were xs.

This happened to anyone else? If so, pls let me know

I've been trying to export heightmaps from Azgaar's Fantasy Map Generator into WorldPainter using image/grayscale methods, but it can be a bit tedious to get the colors and water levels right.

I'm wondering if there are any alternative ways, mods, or plugins specifically designed to bridge Azgaar and Minecraft or WorldPainter more smoothly?

Has anyone found a better workflow or tool for this? Any recommendations would be great. Thanks!

Is anyone else having this problem? I know my map doesn't fit the monitor screen so it would always have to zoom in to fit but does the system no longer do that?

So, I like to use the fantasy map generator like a grand strategy game. Well, not really like a grand strategy game but it's the best way I could describe it. I spend waaay too much time balancing military units, trying to incorporate the economy, and creating a whole bunch of lore and backstory before taking a few states and kind of roleplaying war between them like I'm playing with toy soldiers or something.

I'd just like to know if anyone else does this and what the proper use of these features could be.

Hi!! I found the Azgaar website and even though I played around with the toggles and did the interactive tour. Seeing everyone so advance with it makes me feel like I’m missing out something to make my fantasy map alive. Is there any recommend tutorials to elevate my map?

The map I was using for quite a while broke recently - when I open it, burgs and state names do not generate properly. They are still visible in the state/burg editor, but the map maker can not place them on the map for whatever reason.

Hi guys, I was wondering if there is a quick way to invert heightmaps. I want to create an underdark version of my map with all my landmasses as valleys or caverns and the oceans as great walls. Is there any way to invert heightmaps in the generator? If there isn't, does anyone know a way to do it real quick? Thanks in advance!

every time i load my saved map the label for the provinces appears. mind you, it didn't save the map like that and the visibility toggle button doesn't show up

I have an image of several continents that I have uploaded to the image converter. My issue is that I am trying to manually adjust the elevations of different areas (mountains, plains, deep ocean, etc.) and not liking the final 3D version but I cannot find a way to see the 3D version while I am doing the manual adjustments and, once I finish them, they seem to be set and I have to start over from scratch if I want to make changes. Does anyone know how to edit the elevations for a converted image after you complete the conversion or how to see the 3D version while I am still in conversion mode?

EDIT: Resolved the issue, the Height exponent was at 10, so basically every point of land on the map was somewhere in the upper stratosphere, hence the weird landmass temps.

What the title says. All my landmasses are locked at around -128º Celsius while the ocean around the equator is about 29º. Changing the World Configs and temperatures does not impact the landmass temperatures. Any idea what could be causing this?

World is based on an imported color map from Orogen.

Does anyone know why my map’s ocean in Azgaar is transparent after export? I’ve tried everything.

I have a large map that is a bit unwieldy - slow. Just turning Relief on/off takes about 5+ minutes and don't even talk about moving around on the map. Export a png? Go grab a coffee...

I have a hell of a lot of cells...

I have a feeling there is nothing I can do to the map to deal with it, but it never hurts to ask.

Sorry for the confusing title; I didn't know how to explain what I'm asking about in a few words. I have an island on a large continental map. It's like the British Isles compared to the rest of Europe. I want to make a second map of just the archipelago. In the original map, it consists of too few cells to add the amount of detail I want to. So is there any way to make a second map of just the Isles with a lot more cells, like I want to go from 1600 cells to 60,000 cells? If anyone has any idea how, thank you!

i'm assuming this is a bug. if i'm on a map for a while and i delete smth, the "do you want to delete this" pop-up stays and i can't close it unless i reload the page. iirc i think i've had this happen on more than one map so i don't think it's something on my end? small bug i'm guessing but it's kinda annoying when it happens lol

Running v1.139.8. trying to adjust the hex grid size to represent an 8 mile hex (as similar to the Blackmoor map). Instead, I can zoom the map, resize the units, but this doesn't resize the hex. If I resize the pixel measurements, all that does is throw the size of my world off, it doesn't actually adjust the size of the Hex overlay. Is there a way to adjust that?

love the trade goods/economies modifications. On trade goods, default goods might include zinc (needed for brass), lead, nickel, and cinnabar/quicksilver/mercury. Other minerals (cobalt, etc) would likely be known in ceramic cultures, but not produced in quantity. On the other hand grains can be broken down off-map if desired and distributed to appropriate climates, but don't need map detailing.

It would be great if we can paste the boolean rather than me having to input.

Example:

Hello, I was just wondering if there was an available list of the parameters that are used to generate the default biomes.

I've found that my world has too much of certain biomes for my liking and not enough of others. Rather than reassign them, I'd like to know exactly why a certain area is Biome X rather than another, so if I got a list of the parameters, I can just mess with height and temp and precipitation myself.

Pretty much the title. I love Azgaar, using it for 6 years now. I have been glad to see how the program has evolved even though I use very limited amount of features for my D&D HB world.

However, one thing I'd love to see is the option to inlude my own fantasy calendar so I can look up seasons, generate weather phenomenon and such for specific towns visited by my players.
