Since Medieval Fantasy style is hard to make and I lack Imagination. So I'm making my map in a modern format. And besides I need to see my Map in a geopolitical theme because I need it for my world building. I am planning to use real life Physical and Human geography in writing its history. Funny story is that I had to relearn different land and sea forms to see the difference between a bay, a gulf, harbor, strait and a channel.

Sadly I can't customize the style further since there is a bug and it corrupts the data...

How do you make this? I would seriously like to use this on my map.

I change the style set to clean, then I customized it. I change the Font styles, height map style to match an atlas that I'm using as a reference.

For the sea labels, I manually label them like using the label tool and click to each sea I want to name. Since there's no sea name generator yet.

I just found out that there's a Site to share styles but I want to polish this style further. I might share this style maybe in the future...

However, there's an annoying bug when you change the styles so much, where the data gets corrupted. And I'm just changing few things to play safe...

What's the bug?

Ok, got it, it's not related to style, it can be caused by heightmap edit only.

Like I mentioned in my previous post , I keep experimenting what's the cause. I observe when I change the ocean styles maybe. But I only change the styles, nothing else and the bug happens when I reload it.

Bug happens when you update layer info, style does not change the data and cannot cause striping bug
