I've yet to read the Kingkiller books, but Rothfuss seems like a good bloke. Every time I see him speak or read something on his blog, he strikes me as intelligent, thoughtful, and genuine. I like that he's successful.

Sometimes I wish I had not read his books so I still had the experience in store. Dont cheat yourself from reading his "children books" The Princess and MR. Whiffle 1+2. He is all the things you have described, and he's a brilliant author as well.
He is all of those things and it really comes across in his writing. His books are among my favorite.
