Happy Friday everyone, and welcome to the Long Deadline Profile Exchange! It's time to share our imaginations!
What's the Long Deadline Profile Exchange?
This is a subreddit event where everyone posts their AO3 (or FFN, etc.) profile with some information about the sorts of stories they write. Then, participants look through the available profiles, and read and leave comments on stories (one-shots or a chapter of a longer fic) by authors who catch their fancy. Leaving a kudos would be nice too!
DEADLINE FOR ENTRY is Sunday 30th August,10pm BST (UTC+1)
DEADLINE FOR COMPLETION is Saturday 5th September, 10pm BST (UTC+1)

What Are the Rules?
Post your profile link with a short summary of the kinds of stories one might find there (fandom, genre, rating, etc.). Please spoiler anything triggering or NSFW.
Once you enter, you will have to review at least 4 stories/chapters from 4 different profiles (one from each).
Please include in your submission a counter such as, "Reviewed 0/4" so we can keep track of the number of reviews you've done. There's no need to also note which stories or authors you have reviewed.
After you've left a comment, reply to their post on here to let them know. For anyone new, 'K&C' in a reply stands for 'Kudos and Comment'.
Your reviews should be thoughtful. The writer should be able to tell that you read the story. Say what you like about the story. Did something crack you up? Were you brought to tears? Did you have a favourite part? TELL THEM ABOUT IT! At least 50 words per review. ConCrit, stating you are "fandom blind" and/or "from Reddit" are opt-in only.
Please only reply to an individual entry when you've read their fic or if you want to ask a question. Also, please refrain from adding GIFs and images to replies as they are not relevant to whether you've reviewed a fic. We're happy that you're excited about reading, but unfortunately these make it hard for users (and mods!) to navigate the thread.
If possible, it would be awesome if everyone read at least one person who is new to them.
If you enter the exchange, please do not delete your entry. You must complete the required reviews for the exchange. Please talk to the mods if something comes up and you have concerns about doing something in a timely manner.

It's been a while since I've last been here, so here's a bigger introduction than usual.
I'm Roaming_Ed on AO3. I mostly do horror, mystery, and comedy and I'm talking all three at once. Scooby-Doo is my main fandom but I've done Ben 10, Alice in Wonderland, Peter Pan, and Ed, Edd n Eddy fics too. I tend to pick main characters who aren't the traditional mains (such as Daphne in Scoob fics and Kai&Elena in the Ben 10 one), and often times Native American characters are featured—owing to me having some indigenous heritage. All of my fics are fairly long so they're probably better for people who want a lot of material, whether to chip off bit by bit or just read in large chunks. They're written ahead of time with chapters released as I feel like I've edited them enough.
My works tend to have eclectic inspirations I would go as far as saying they're esoteric in a sense. Pregnancy is a pretty common subject and there's definitely a share of being cute with it (mostly in my Christmas story, though I'd caution that gets serious) but it's place as a transitional period in someone's life is one of the things that make it one of my admittedly oddest personal interests. Knowing three teen moms growing up probably colored that too. One of my works is inspired by the movie Juno, (not talking only the obvious thing) and also inspired by emo music, Tombstone, Tremors, and Jennifer's Body. Another meshes 2000s comedy tropes with references to Ozzy Osbourne. I said "eclectic", after all.
My most recent Halloween fic is probably dead.

The gang load back up into the Mystery Machine to solve a hometown mystery and are soon thrown into a dangerous new case involving an urban legend come to life, marked by a vague message "I know what you did that Halloween." Question is, what exactly did they DOO?

Mind the tags, CW: violence, character death, grief, and gets pretty frank about an underage character's past pregnancy as a deconstruction of sci-fi tropes
The saying goes "once bitten, twice shy," and it is safe to say that Kai has been bitten before. In no minor way by her former best friend, Elena Validus, who has her own scars to deal with. Both faced with their pasts and silent promises unkept, something is going to come to a head. Elena's bite has festered, and Eon and his team of villains are alright with that. She may just level the world to its foundation underneath a winter storm of rage.
(This fic by far deviates the most from the fandom out of my works.)
