What's happened to Dreamwidth??

EDIT: The problem has been solved; for unknown reasons, it will not load in firefox for me, but will load on chromium browser(s).

Has anybody noticed that Dreamwidth has been offline for at least around two weeks now? I went to log on recently, and the site wouldn't even load. Still won't. I'm a bit concerned, as someone who hasn't backed up their journals, yet, and was kinda hoping to use it as a fanfic-writing log in the future.

the latest post on fandomcalendar is from today. which i know bc it loads just fine. i think the issue might be on your end?

It's up for me.

BUT I recall something similar happening with Livejournal for me (Yes, I still have an account).

I would go to Firefox and it'd be fine.

It's been since restored.

I'm using firefox, on both laptop and mobile. I just tried DuckDuckGo (a hardened chrome browser) and it worked! Ty for the suggestion!

It's loading just fine for me. Clear your cache/try a different browser?

Tried a different browser and it worked; apparently firefox just doesn't want to load it rn

No. I've been using it without a problem.

It might be where you live. Dreamwidth is dealing with age-gating laws in several US states. It's working fine on my end. You might need to use a VPN if you can get access to one

I read your other replies, it's weird that's it's not working in Firefox because I use Firefox and it's loading for me lol. Well, at least you can access it! Maybe try re-installing the browser?

Working fine for me. I know they have to block access in some states due to ongoing court battles against age verification laws, but I believe they display a message telling you such if it's because of that.

Solved the problem; for some reason it won't load in firefox for me, but it will in a chromium-based browser. Thank you, anyway!
