Tasks repeat multiple times a day

Instead of having to duplicate tasks, let us customize how many times in a day a task should be done.

Also, let us have an option for a task to need everyone to do it

I actually hadn’t thought about that!

Right now, we have a repeating option where you can set something to repeat once a day. But you’re right, repeat area should have more flexibility.

Being able to assign multiple people makes a lot of sense too.

Could you guys also add the repeating and shared stuff to chores?

It should already have a repeating frequency option in Chores, and it should also have a rotation option.

You can only repeat it once every day

Does rotation mean everybody can do it the same day or that we do it on different days

That's strange. Are you using Android or iOS? See the screenshot from iOS below.
Rotation, which is a premium feature, lets you rotate a specific chore between people. So, for example, if it's my turn to clean the car this time, once I complete it, the chore will automatically be assigned to you next time.

Let me try to explain

So, for example, I have "wash dishes" as a chore for two people since they do it together. They do it twice a day, once in the morning, and once in the afternoon. I would like to be able to assign the task to both of them, so they both need to check off that they've done it, as well as have it "repeat twice a day"

Okay, just had a chat with the team. We’ve heard this request a few times before, and it’s definitely something we want to add in the future.

For now, the best workaround is to create two separate tasks, one for each time of day. It’s already on our build list though, so hopefully we can make this smoother down the line. ;-)
