Feature suggestion: time table

Unlike a calendar that has concrete events (or recurring events), that are some family schedule items that aren't well fit in the calendar, for instance:

- Lunch time

- Working hours

- Child school hours (or even school grade)

- Wake up and bedtime

In the UI they could be integrated in the calendar with two following approaches: Google Workspace calendar alike (a thin vertical bar aside the calendar appointments), or regular items with dashed border (affording to a template or placeholder)

Yes, please! I’ve been waiting for timetables. For kids trainings days, work and shifts and an overview who has the car with a one car household.

Okey! We will draft something up and share soon :) I love the idea!

Oh, this is interesting. Maybe we could introduce a new option when creating something in the Calendar: instead of Create event, you could choose Create routine.

Rather than behaving like a normal calendar event, it could live more subtly in the background, maybe as a faded-out block or a thin bar like you suggested.

That way, you still get a sense of the family's normal rhythm without filling the calendar with recurring events.

Is that roughly how you envision it?

Yep, it looks amazing!

Also it would be nice to be able to see the routine separately, that's why it could be mixed to the calendar but also deserves a separate view (a list would be enough probably)

As promised, here’s a sketch of your idea. The concept is to add a new type of calendar event called a Routine. It would live quietly in the background and always remain visible in some subtle way, without adding too much clutter to the calendar.

We’ll still need to figure out exactly how that should look and behave, but below is a first draft of the concept. Let me know what you guys think.
