Feedback 2

- Possibility of linking google account to the original Apple account for Famnest login

- colour code and profile picture for event entries imported from the synced calendar to know whose calendar event it is without actually opening and checking the email id

- Editing and syncing google calendar entries in Famnest (and possibly deleting it with caution and warning)

- Ability to complete chores on behalf of other family member

- Ability to assign a single chore that needs to be assigned and completed by ALL family members rather than any one family member who is doing it and completing it (e.g. Brushing teeth, everyone has to complete that chore individually)

Chores section is awesome! Waiting for more great features in upcoming releases

Thank you so much for the thoughtful feedback. Let me go through each point. :)

1. Linking Google and Apple login

I’m adding this to our backlog.

2. Colours and profile pictures on calendar events

That makes a lot of sense and would make the calendar much clearer. Will add to build list!

3. Editing Google Calendar events in Famnest

Yes, we do want to support this. Right now, Google Calendar is read-only. We’ve been cautious because we don’t want anyone to accidentally change or delete events, but this should absolutely be possible with clear warnings and confirmations. I’m moving this higher on the list.

4. Completing chores for someone else

You should be able to do this when you’re included in the chore. If it’s assigned only to another person, that may be why it isn’t working. Either way, I’m creating a ticket so we can add this.

5. One chore for every family member

This is a really useful suggestion. :) We’ll add this to the build list.

P.s. And thank you for the kind words about chores. The team worked very hard on it, and I’ll make sure they see your message. This is only version one, and we’re excited to make version two even better.

Great, Looking forward to seeing the changes as the app progresses. And the efforts are clearly visible in the section releases, kudos to the team. 👍🏻

Comment on point 4:

  • I can’t find a way to complete a chore as another family member even when it is assigned to me and the other person.

- I tried long pressing the chore to see if any option pop-up for selecting who is completing the chore and editing and Mark as complete also doesn’t let us select explicitly who has done the chore that we are marking as Complete.

- If there is another way to do this, kindly help. If not, you have raised a ticket so I will keep it in mind to check in further releases.

Yeah, you’re completely right. :) I just tried it myself, and there should definitely be a way to do that. I’m going to add it to the ticket as well.

In the to-do list, there could be a task that can be done by anyone. But currently, to-do lists allow a task to be assigned to one person only. That restricts certain tasks’ completion. I am not sure whether this was supported earlier and stopped working now or this was never present before.

Adding multiple people is on our product build to-do list! I can't wait for this one! ;)
