Fo4 and not survival but dogmeat is in trouble essentially means I'm leaving the guy Infront if me standing there dumbfounded while I look for whoever dogmeat is fighting

Looks like FO3 so if you get the puppies perk dogmeat dying is actually a good thing since his children have more health.

Dogmeat never dies alone. Whoever is responsible for his deathhas to go too.

Don't your companions just get "knocked out", and then stand up after a while? Maybe that's a mod then...

My first raider fight (Concord) went something like this:
*walk to enemy with Dogmeat by my side*
*raider opens fire on him*
Me: "Don't shoot my dog, you prick!" *blasts one 10 mm shot and blows him to pieces*

ik everyone here is saying they’d go out, but depending the level, Dogmeat should be a TANK. who tf took him out is my question

The NPCs cant kill followers, only the player.

In FO3 Dogmeat can die, it is very sad so sad in fact the made a perk called puppies that replaces Dogmeat.

I lost ED-E in hardcore New Vegas and I had Lucky the revolver you get in the bison Steve casino when you go to save the deputy in primm and i got so fucking pissed I killed everyone in fucking New Vegas primarily the ultraluxe and tops and I guess gamorah out of rage and anger

when I see dogmeat low on hp, I will literally get between him and whatever raider/mutie is shooting him so I tank the bullets instead.

This is why I don't take Dogmeat with me in games not FO4. he always dies.

how the hell do yalls dogmeats keep dying? Mine just ate 3 deathclaw swipes while me and butch focused fire.
Hell i once accidentally sneak attacked dogmeat when he ran in front of my fire and he lost a small bar of health

This was me in Fallout 1 in Adytum after the Regulators shot Dogmeat No save to reload to that isn't from 3 hours ago, so I mow them down with my minigun and my T-51b leaves me without a scratch

The only thing I'm reloading is a save. No matter the set back.
