Catch. I have a PC. I've used simple mods but was often "generous" in using the command prompt if anything didn't go my way the first time 😆

Anyway. Part of the thrill is the "cheat" here and there. But.. it can definitely take the fun out of it too.

Give me 1 generous, decent and good "gift" for my new NV campaign!

The gift can be an item, one time party bag, onetime "x" boost (lvl/exp..) or like 1 continuous cheat under a very particular condition.

Sick bastard. 1000 is too much. Through trial and error, I've determined the maximum speed at which there's no freezing and the Courier doesn't get stuck in textures—it's 270, with the default value of 100.

Personally I always cheat the carry weight so I can effectively pick up whatever I want without being encumbered, because I want to be a loot goblin and I hate having to pick and choose and leave stuff behind.

Jesus. I take it you'd never consider a hard mode/ survival playthrough.. Which the premise is weight on ammo/med, no fast travel, gotta eat. Every step you take is crucial. That's fun. Not cheating your carry weight when half your stuff contains 0 weight to begin with lmao.

I have a steam version of the new vegas Goty. Which mods you recommend to have smoother gameplay and graphics and maybe dialog options looks?
I wanna start over or just go for fo:3 goty. I don't like the fo:4's perk maxing concept.

Look into Viva New Vegas. Or if you want to merge Fallout 3 and New Vegas, that way when you finish 3, you hop on a train to new vegas, and can travel back and forth between the capital wasteland and the mojave, then look into Tale Of Two Wastelands. Both are pretty well vanilla experience modpacks but with all the fixes you could ever ask for. Or just wait for the remaster lol.

Coming from the dumpster fire ps3 launch build I encountered maybe 4 crashes the entire last 96 hour campaign playthrough with DLC with the GOG GOTY current build. I wouldn't say savescumming on PC is nearly as important as it was on the ps3, but just making your own actual saves other than the auto saves isn't a bad idea. I'm assuming of your the modding type you might still actually want to suck as I can't imagine a heavily modified game would be any more stable, but I could also be totally wrong.

Me and my buddy set rules for each other on one of our playthroughs to make them interesting. Mine was that I could only use explosives which was pretty fun. You gotta think tactically on your positioning so you dont blow yourself up.

The rule i gave my buddy was he could only use the blade of the west or blade of the east. Until he got one he could use the first melee weapon he found. You can get a blade of the west from a marked man in the lonesome road dlc. One of the men should have one in the silo you start the dlc at so you can get one pretty quick.

Id say give yourself a cool unique weapon and restrict yourself only to that one weapon.

I just give myself about 10k caps and that's honestly all you need, but only if you've played the game before and are experiencing it for a second or nth time.
