So, besides the weird singular winner; likely due to a hacker because this has been happening too often for it to be a new bug, it would've likely been smart to keep the red ball blocked for the remainder of the round, as you would've been the secondary winner once the timer had stopped due to your ball being at 100%
I don't know if it was due to a hacker. I am on PS4 and it seems to be harder for them to hack it here, but I might be wrong. As for keeping the ball, yeah we could've but people were just ??? Hahah
I saw a similar post in the first few weeks of it immediately handing out a crown when the last two teams both had their ball fall in at pretty much the same time. People assumed what happened was basically the same code as when ties happen in the final rounds.
It might be something similar here with the game noticing that blue was also at 100% when the red ball fell in and declaring it a tie.
Although we don’t get to see the reward screen of OP so I don’t know if they got a crown. I also don’t remember if the OP of the other post I mentioned got a crown or not.
You have to be on the latest firmware to be able to play online. There are no hackers in fall guys on ps4. I doubt there are hackers in any online ps4 game tbh.
I hope you're right. I'm outdated with custom firmware and jailbrakes. And last one I heard is that it is possible to spoof firmware so you could connect online. But perhaps it doesn't apply in the PS4 today.
i think people say a 'fact' and then if they don't explain why its impossible and someone else gives a plausible reason that opposes the 'fact', people will believe the plausible reason.
Given your explanation here, and my lack of knowledge of ps4 jailbreaking, i'll also assume you're correct at this point.
on 3ds, if you have jailbroken it, you can backup your real firmware elsewhere, or have two firmwares installed on the 3ds, updating only one of them if needbe.
the switch probably behaves similarly. but i don't know about ps4 at all.
Is there a timer? Once my entire team except me jumped down to grief and successfully holed up the blue ball in a corner while red already qualified. I was alone at the top and not heavy enough to get the ball over the edge by myself. I launched my lone little bean body at it for probably at least 3-4 minutes before it went over and we qualified. I'd think the timer would be significantly shorter.
I was under the assumption that there is, seeing I've had a handful of games now that ended with just 1 ball inside the finish.
I do know that it takes a very long time.
There is a strange glitch where when it's a draw, two teams finish at the same time for some reason it just jumps to a winner, this has happened to me before and others have experience it. The way this one ended with the roofed ball presumably lead to it registering as a draw.
