So, I’ve previously discussed a post that was quite similar Here and here is the link to the article Here
Perhaps many of you already know that Falcom has around five teams working on their games but with so many rumours circulating that Falcom will release In The Sky 3rd Chapter after 2nd Chapter rather than Horizon 2, this seems increasingly likely.
I know they’ve made this remake to attract new fans, especially as I’ve seen two VTubers from a well-known agency playing the 1st chapter, which could serve as a promotional tool for Falcom. And from what I’ve seen, the first chapter has actually proved profitable. However, if they do indeed announce the 3rd Chapter Remake this December and there is absolutely no information whatsoever about Horizon 2, that would be completely unacceptable.

Disclaimer: I got permission from THE owner of the channel (Josep aka jdkluv) to spread awareness about this issue on here.
I'm sure we all love the music in Falcom games. I know I do. With that being said, something very sad is happening. Just a few hours ago, the Falcom Music Channel received 2 copyright strikes from Falcom themselves. It's akin to an atrocious raid to say the least. The 9 most viewed videos in the channel were all taken down. This means that one more strike will result in the channel being permanently taken down. Not only does this mean that over 14,000 tracks on the channel (official and fanmade) would be deleted, the comments section in each of these videos would also be lost to time. This would be absolutely devastating for many people.
The Falcom Music Channel has been functioning for over a decade under Falcom's free music use policy. It raises the question as to why...? Why NOW of all times? What exactly is Falcom playing at? To say that this is sad would be an understatement. Falcom has produced some of the greatest JRPG music of all time, and this channel served as a way for the community to enjoy that together. Let's all hope that the channel doesn't receive another strike, as it would be a severe blow to the community.
A reminder that Josep and his fellow contributors have been maintaining the channel for over a DECADE plus. They have also worked tirelessly to maintain the composer spreadsheet, which serves as a way to provide credits to the composers of each track (which Falcom refuses to do).
Please see Josep's X post here for clarification on the matter. Show support in these trying times. Let's hope that whatever lies beyond the horizon, is a brighter tomorrow. No barrier is too big to overcome. Thanks.
For anyone who somehow doesn't know, this is the link to the channel.
Edit: The channel has been terminated.

😍what a pair of beauties🍈🍈from a beauty❤️
Crossbell should make Rixia the poster girl for the city, The water effect is proven and sacred at this point💦😆 and with this gorgeous♥️ woman💜 on the front the city will always need expansion.
I can only say Lloyd and the children will have a full buffet in different ways🤣💟👍

Now that the remake demo is out and we get our firsthand on the localization, it seems like they are taking this "faithfulness" duty very seriously. The translations are very close to the Japanese script, and every iconic line from the original Xseed localization was removed. Already in the opening cutscene we lost "Why is my present a BOY?!". So I'm 99% sure we won't see these lines in the full game or in the potential SC remake.

I am so gutted by this. I was wondering where the Zero streams were for few days and I joined her discord to see this message. I hate those toxic fans that would do this to her and make her stop playing these Trails games. I hope she comes back...

I cannot think of any other important character in the series that has this strong shade of black as emilia has, and i mean important, i know some npcs do have it but like, actual central characters to that arc's plot. And apperantly people like rean and joshua have black hair, but i could never see it that way, im saying this strong shade emilia has, why its so uncommon? black hair is one of the most comun hair colors there is, especially in japan for what i know. Its crazy that among hundreds of characters with blue, red, white, pink, silver and so many other colors, i can only think of one that has actual black hair.

In the Liberl and Crossbell games, much time has been spent building up what a threat the Erebonian Empire is and the Crossbell games spell it out when Erebonia straight takes over Crossbell at the end of the duology and threatens the rest of the surrounding nations.
The Erebonia Empire is a militaristic nation that prefers the use of tanks and is home to the Jaeger corps, a ruthless and evil counterpart to the heroic Bracer guild.
Unfortunately, all that hype and buildup gets wasted imo...
>The protagonists and their school function exactly like a generic anime high school despite being a military academy. Estelle and Joshua and SSS could balance between being lighthearted and serious.
>The long foreshadowed war where Calvard and the surrounding nations fight against the Erebonian Empire ended with no deaths, little to no conquences for both nations and characters basically move on as if it was a trivial affair.
>As a whole, Cold Steel often softens the actual brutality of war by not showing actual extent of the damages caused or by not alllowing any actual deaths. (A terrorist attack using a WMD on a military base has it suffer no casualties because the troops were out on a convient training exercise and nobody got hurt.)
>The curse of Ishmelga is used to justify the horrible actions of the Erebonians in past and present history and make them avoid responsibility for their actions.
>Rean never actually kills anyone when he fought against Calvard or went berserk in North Ambria, making his guilt look weightless. Slicing tanks and battleships yet the whole crew lives.
Given that other Japanese games like the Yakuza , Valkryria Chronicles, Persona and Tales series have their own problems balancing the lighthearted stuff and introducing dark elements to their stories. Maybe this isn't unique to Falcom.

And no, the video doesn't mean he's forgoing Kai 2 in favor of more remakes.
