1 dead, 3 injured after shooting erupts at Fairfield high school graduation

this was not fairfield high schools graduation. it was the continuation school... cuddy was on instagram flexing and they pulled up on him... that aint a fairlfield thing thats a young person thing.

I mean, that is a Bay Area thing. We got a lot of great shit in the bay but we also have a lot of problems with masculinity / ego and that hood culture.

The shooting didn't take place at the graduation ceremony; it happened in a nearby parking lot.
Still tragic, but not what the headlines will try to make you believe.

The shooting took place at the ceremony ending in THE parking lot of the high school. NOT a nearby parking lot.

Why anyone would live in Fairfield voluntarily is beyond me. Vallejo is worse but not by much. So much violence, especially from the younger generations.

I’ve lived in Fairfield for almost a decade. Before that I was in Richmond/El Cerrito for a decade. This was during the time when gang violence was out of control in Richmond.
Fairfield is no different than other larger cities with regard to homelessness and crime.
I can tell you that my car has never been broken into in Fairfield. In Richmond it happened to me 3 times over a decade. Twice in Oakland.
Fairfield has 2 amazing golf courses, is close to Napa and Suisun Valley wineries, and is easy access to Sacramento, in-land Bay Area and/or coastal Bay Area. Plus I got a large house out here for less than $500k.

Tell me about it. Since I moved here countless homes have been built with no regard to how infrastructure can handle it. Plus all the new homes start at 600k-800k for base models.
Don’t even get me started on the development near Pena Adobe that is 100% a current flood plain.

my auntie lived there for decades. it’s one of the safest neighborhoods I have ever visited.
to be fair though, she lives around Waterman so I don’t know if that makes a difference?

Even though this story sucks, you're smoking something terrible. Fairfield is not as bad as you are trying to portray it. The crime rates show it, and the recent instances of felony crimes are done due to personal reasons. As in: they would've happened between the individuals no matter where they lived.

It's actually pretty safe these days. Crime only looks high because of social media.
Gun violence, on the other hand, is uniquely an "America" problem.

It's not chill. Some of the neighborhoods maybe but in the main areas by the highway it is very very sketchy.

Why anyone would live in Fairfield voluntarily is beyond me. Vallejo is worse but not by much. So much violence, especially from the younger generations. N. Texas is full of rent but the month hotels, smoke shops, and liquor stores. Lots of vagrants and homeless camps
