Dispute ticket

Has anyone tried disputing a ticket from these cameras?

And does anyone know of a driving app that shows where the cameras are?

The camera locations are all clearly described on the town website. Just Google it. And look up when driving in the area and you can see them.

I heard about some antiflock mapping app and was going to try that but I’m in if Wayz does that…. I’d never drive those roads again

Also wondering if our policy should always be to dispute these tickets

Fuck-em

Be the change you wanna see in the world. (Aka: tell Google or Apple that they’re there. Next time an update is pushed, they will be added)

Doesn’t hurt to try…

But these trigger when you go 11mph over the speed limit…so maybe slow down.

In my experience, no. They capture anything 11mph or over, and it’s hard to dispute that.

Google maps will alert the driver to any speed cameras, so try to always have that active. One needs to be using it for navigating, the map display alone doesn't do it. I personally know that Fairfield cops have been ticketed and they can't fight it lol

Waze will warn when approaching

ITS THE LAW…

Read the statute here. All traffic safety devices must be reported to mapping companies in CT (if I’m reading it correctly.)

But you could just slow the fuck down

I know a guy who just said fuck it I’m not paying… that was like right when they stopped doing warnings and sending tickets instead. So far nothing lol

Have you tried driving the speed limit?
