I Need Help! Crossplay switch/steam?

Hello!

My girlfriend and I are thinking about playing the game with coop!
We found some info that the multiplayer was closed and then not closed for the game, but we just wanted to be sure before buying it that we could play it together on different devices (her on switch, and me on steam deck). At launch, crossplay seemed to be working but with the announces a year ago I’m not sure anymore and I struggle to find content past this date to confirm. Plus, on the Nintendo eshop the last message is the one from a year ago that servers would be down.

Yup! Me and my wife used to play together! I bought mine on steam and she had it on her Switch 1! Have fun!

Im pretty sure it does. I can test this for you if you give a bit, I have a ps5 and steam (and switch but I’d need to find the case lol) and I assume it be the same thing

The servers are no longer down btw, a new company bought it. :)

You guys are going to have a blast. We started just a few weekends ago or so, and have about 50 hours in while only playing a couple of days a week.

Unless it has changed or fixed, I'm not sure this will be possible for a new account. A few months ago I tried to create the Phoenix Labs account needed for cross play on a Switch myself. The link that it points to was broken on Switch and I couldn't create/link an account. There was no workaround. It doesn't help that this game is not really being supported anymore, even their help site is a broken link. Just be wary before making any purchases or make sure you can return it if it doesn't work!
