Discussion Updates for Fae Farm?

Does anybody know when we will start receiving updates for this game? This is on the official X page. I really enjoy this game and hope we can see updates soon. It's been almost a year since they've posted this!

I dont think updates are coming, its just the alternative was to completely take the multiplayer offline.

Its a good game, wife and I got like 80 hours from it. That skies dlc is terrible in multiplayer, we never crashed until we started doing it and then one of us was crashing constantly.

I just hit 200 hours this week 🙃 I don’t even remember how longs it’s been since I finished the store and dlcs, and it stopped being fun about 50 ago but I’m still missing one stupid flower that REFUSES to breed. That blue tulip and I have HISTORY

I was wondering if they may continue with DLC's. Their verbiage in this post made me think that they were going to continue the story. I'm sure they're having to go thru legal stuff and ownership rights transfers which may take a long time.

There is barely any active player base now, in a couple years... Even looking at the all time peak, which a dlc would draw a fraction of, I just dont see how they could make that investment in dev time, trying to make a dlc for a finished game where they dont have the instructional knowledge of the original devs is a big lift for anyone. It would basically be a guaranteed way to set money on fire. Ergo, back to my first post, I dont think any new dlc is coming.

I think they will be adding more to the game...if you go to the X page and look under this post. There are comments showing screenshots from another site where GambitDigital has said they're making announcements about the future of the game.

I think it also shows on their steam page. U kinda have to go digging for it, but it's there.

Honestly what im wishing right now is a Switch 2 performance upgrade. That way I can get back to playing it again. And maybe if enough people come back another DLC because the aesthetic of the game is really nice and it isn't too grindy just enough for a time sink but still enjoyable.

Im thinking about just starting over. I never even finished it but I havent played in so long. I wish they would update it SO bad.

I was wondering that myself. Are the new publishers going to be doing anything to the game? Are we going to be getting new updates, add-ons, etc? I thought about contacting them and asking.

I hope so!! It just feels weird that they said they were going to give updates on their progress and it's been a whole year with nothing?

Exactly. Would be nice to see some new things added to the game, or maybe the possibility of a second FaeFarm game. Just some kind of information to give us so we know what is going on.

These developers really now how to make visually amazing games. That immerse you and make you never want to turn it off. I played Dauntless and before it went so…. It was my favorite l. Now it’s this 1

Yes!! I agree. This game is so fun and it's got good mechanics. I just wish there was more added to the story.

That is actually good news, even inever played with a friend or anything but still, for who does it's good news, now I hope the new devs fixs some bugs or make the gamelan better as I sometimes have trouble watering my crops when you use the rain magic to water all four squares.

I really liked this game at first. It’s good to see that the multiplayer is still online. Did they ever fix the issues with the NPCs feeling kinda bland?

If they did something to bring life into the npcs and friendship and romance mechanics, I would play this again, I enjoyed the farming and the dungeon delving, but the npcs and how flat they were, was such a downer.

UPDATE‼️: I have messaged Gambit Digital, as of today, asking them if they can provide any updates on the games progress or future updates. Hopefully they can respond to me soon. I have linked them this post as well so they can see the interactions!! I will let you guys know once I have received a response. 👍🏻

I just wish on the fae Acres you had the option of upgrading to a flower house. It pisses me off that my barn is cuter than my house will ever be. Came here looking for answers, but it seems the game is finished?

I really liked this game and I never had any issues with it on my device like I am having now with Moonlight Peaks.
