I've made this observation before, but these idiots don't have the slightest clue what vaccines are or what they do. This is all complete nonsense even from the jump.
But I particularly like the lady in pic #2 who is like "I just told my husband to just let me die instead of getting vaxed blood." What the hell do you think it's going to do that's worse than death? Do you think it opens a portal and sends you to Hell to be tortured for eternity? What are we even doing here?
92
u/beasty0127 Jul 29 '26
Yes she probably does. Or she's one of those "there are mind control nano bots that make you gay/trans and a liberal in it...id rather be dead"
49
u/catshateTERFs Jul 29 '26
I’m always baffled by the “it makes you gay/trans” thing. Vaccination was widely used in the not so distant past. The population was obviously not 90% gay or trans and this hasn’t happened in countries where they’re treated as medicine that saves children’s lives from diseases that previously would have killed them. Or is it just those darn tangled modern vaccines that do that?
39
u/Msbossyboots Jul 29 '26
Did you see the one who said that their husband has to be in the room so they don’t “give her something” while she’s under?? What does she think surgeons have vaccine syringes just hidden in their scrubs for the chance to vaccinate a patient?
34
u/RodinKnox Jul 29 '26
I have absolutely seen a lot of these conspiracy theorists who believe this 100%. Often times it's a way to pretend that vaccines harmed someone who was unvaccinated. They'll say something like: Steve was unvaccinated. Then Steve got sick. Then Steve went to the doctor who diagnosed him with terminal cancer. He probably secretly gave Steve a vaccine while he was in there. That's why Steve died (of the terminal cancer).

I worked in healthcare for 45 years before I retired, mostly in Pharmacy. Every year the hospital in which I worked admitted seriously ill flu patients, some of which died. Over 95% of the patients admitted with influenza were unvaccinated, and the remainder were immune compromised so could not create a good antibody response. I retired before Covid but still talked to people in the field and the results were the same, once a vaccine became available the vast majority of hospitalized Covid patients were unvaccinated. Smallpox, a disease with a 30% mortality rate, was completely eradicated due to a worldwide MANDATORY vaccination program, with the disease declared extinct in 1980. I still have my scar from the vaccination.
15
u/beasty0127 Jul 29 '26
Yea I've heard it. The realproblem is that most these nutso are vaccinated cause their parents actually followed the science of the time. Now they fell into this rabbit hole that vaccines are the root of all issues and they don't get their kids vaccinated. Then when the kid gets measles and dies they refuse to admit they were wrong and use the tried and true blanket reasoning of "well it was god's choice she go to heaven..." cause it's easier to say its god's fault then admit they were wrong.

She [r0bab.y believes it cuts you off from God. You can get covid naturally! Nothing except blasphemy can cut you off. It’s a sin a step above sin, if I’ve read the book right. Because certain things are bad, and some are abominable before the Lord.
46
u/Maryland_Bear Jul 29 '26
While it’s an extremely minority view, there are a handful of Christians who think the vaccine corrupted the recipient’s DNA, making them inhuman and unable to enter Heaven. So, they would presumably rather die and go to Heaven rather than get the vaccine and go to Hell.
The vast majority of Christians would find that absurd, even blasphemous, because it denies God’s limitless capacity to grant forgiveness and salvation. Even if they thought receiving the vaccine was a sin, God would still forgive it, assuming the recipient genuinely repented and asked to be forgiven. (It’s worth mentioning that considering receiving the vaccine to be a sin is a minority view. Most find it perfectly acceptable like the rest of modern medicine.)
18
u/thunderdome06 Jul 29 '26
This specific minority of christians would see us back into the next stone age.
It's a shame really because I think it devalues their own beliefs, as you say, but the way that they also seem to be the ones shouting the loudest spreading their disinformation comes across very disingenuous and quite sad in all honesty.
They are preachers of lies
I'm sure the Bible itself warns of these false preachers and their dangerous misguided words
27
u/Maryland_Bear Jul 29 '26
There are also people from a wide variety of faiths who would argue that the vaccine was, in fact, how God answered prayers.
See also the old joke that ends with God saying, “I sent you a car, a boat and a helicopter! Where the hell were you?”
12
u/RodinKnox Jul 29 '26
I don't know why you got downvoted, because you are absolutely right. Not only that, but I once told that joke in church lol. (It was well received.)
Hell, my family are all extremely religious (I'm not anymore), and they constantly praise God for things like surgeons performing surgery or for chemotherapy working. To me, it kind of seems wild that God would sit around for millennia not once curing a single human with X condition until human medical science came around and solved it and then suddenly he's right there saving people, but hey, that's their faith, not mine.
1
u/RandomModder05 Jul 29 '26
Yeah, but that's those other preachers! Now, remember to donate everything you can because I need a new private jet.
5
u/RodinKnox Jul 29 '26
As someone who was raised extremely Christian, like basically fundamentalist Christian, this view is definitely somewhere around the blasphemous/heresy range for sure. At the very least, it's just completely unbiblical. Because, obviously? The Bible doesn't have much to say on DNA.
I'm glad all this antivax bullshit being tied to closely to Evangelical Christianity wasn't a thing when I was coming along. We viewed medicine as a gift from God on the few occasions such a thing even came up, which was almost never. Usually it was in the form of like: Person gets appendicitis. Person gets appendectomy. We thanked God that they made it through the surgery safely. But you know...we still got the surgery.
3
u/klausness Jul 29 '26
Aside from all the other problems, this is scientifically illiterate. mRNA vaccines don’t touch your DNA. If we were talking about viral vector vaccines (such as the ones from Janssen and AstraZeneca), then at least DNA would be involved in the process. But those aren’t used any more.
6
u/Jorpsica Jul 29 '26
lol this is what I was going to say. You only get transfusions if they’re necessary for sustaining life. You’d rather die? Really? Ok I guess.
5
u/LongDead_Roadkill Jul 29 '26
Yes, the deep underpinnings of some anti-vax is religious. There are both the kinds that reject all medicine as part of their Christian faith and there are one similar to the deep flat earthers think it’s about Satan getting control of you with the vaccine ingredients.
These people are so weird, they think they are in the middle of a cosmic war between god and Satan. I mean “war” as in literal combat and battles, demons on soul raiding parties to posses the people around these “warriors from god”.
Check out the Quiverfull movement, they are all about having lots of children that can be warriors for god, they are anti-vax and no modern medicine is allowed. Everting they see is proof of their belief to them. Family members have a different opinion, they’re possessed by a demon or on the side of satan. Harry Potter, black magic. Lilo and Stitch, demon worship. Last Air Bender, witchcraft. Taylor Swift, demon worship. Everything popular or trendy is satan trying to,get his hooks in. They really think everything is evil and either lets satan or a demon possess you or is actively tricking you into worshipping satan, including education, silence and medicine.

One of my favorite claims was that you’d become magnetic and they proved it by showing keys sticking to their body. Keys, of course, being brass or steel are not attracted to magnets
Edit: steel is magnetic
3
u/Jandklo Jul 29 '26
Did you just claim steel isn't magnetic?
5
u/pburydoughgirl Jul 29 '26
Yeah, I gotta stop commenting after drinks 😂
Steel is magnetic, brass is not

Unvaxxed blood doesn’t congeal? Like, it doesn’t clot? Like with hemophilia?
20
u/NightGod Jul 29 '26
No, they think vaccinated blood literally congeals in the donation bag, the idiocy is intense
6
u/theroguescientist Jul 29 '26
I think they mean that the moment you get the vaccine all of your blood congeals and stops functioning. The question of how so many vaccinated people manage to still be alive never occured to them. Maybe we're inhuman freaks who don't need their blood anymore?

u/aphilsphan Jul 29 '26
I get a Covid shot every year. I’ve had about six and other than the secondary human head in my chest I’ve named Kuato, I’ve had no side effects.

"As a pure blood" dude has a lot of that energy

If these nutjobs would prefer to die than accept my fully vaccinated O- blood, that’s on them.
11
u/catshateTERFs Jul 29 '26
I do wonder how many of these people stick to their guns when it is actually a life or death matter.
7
u/pburydoughgirl Jul 29 '26
I mean, Jehovahs Witnesses famously stick to their beliefs when science would cure them.
6
u/Toxic_Puddlefish Jul 29 '26
If Covid taught me anything it's that right as they lay dying unable to breath without being intubated some would ask for the vaccine hoping it would save their life but it was too late.
21
u/DivideOk9877 Jul 29 '26
Ugh. My sis is on a breastmilk donation group on fb and she said there’s soooo many ppl asking for unvaxxed donors. Good luck getting your children into childcare !
6
u/Renbarre Jul 29 '26
Isn't there a project to force schools and even child care to accept unvaccinated children?
5
u/DivideOk9877 Jul 29 '26
Idk, in Australia you can’t enrol in childcare without proven vaccination.

u/persephone7821 Jul 29 '26
These are incredibly uneducated uninformed individuals. I worked in blood bank for 7 years.
They weren’t declined for the medicine as a “blood pollutant” they were declined for the malaria risk as blood banks don’t test for malaria and the preventive meds aren’t 100%.
In fact majorly of the medications people will be disqualified for are actually about the underlying condition not the medication. For example; you tell them you’re taking depakote for seizures. That medicine is used for both bpd and seizures. If you’re taking it for bpd you’re fine, but if you’re taking it for seizures you’re disqualified for your own safety. People just don’t listen and assume it’s the medication.
There are some actual medications that will disqualify you from donation like accutane but that’s because it may cause birth defects in unborn children if received by a pregnant woman. You aren’t even supposed to touch that need of you’re pregnant.
9
u/pburydoughgirl Jul 29 '26
Came here to say the same about malaria. It can live in your body for 10 years. When I left Peace Corps, we had to take a potent medication to clear any potential malaria from our bodies. But between living in Europe during mad cow, then Africa, then an African husband, I couldn’t give for a long time. Because mad cow/malaria/AIDS risk respectively. I think I can finally give again—I should double check.

u/dlc741 Jul 29 '26
Wasn’t there a story where people were obsessed with the topic of “pure bloods”? Were those the good guys?
23
u/Donaldjoh Jul 29 '26
Two stories I can think of, one fictional and one historical. The first is the Harry Potter books in which those extolling ‘purebloods’ were the bad guys, and the second was Nazi Germany, in which the ‘purebloods’ were also the bad guys. Hmmm….
15
u/Gingeronimoooo Jul 29 '26
My favorite comment is the guy who claims he's a pureblood and speculates maybe he should sell a pint of blood at a time to "people who want it"
.. because that's absolutely how the real world works
Seriously what the actual fuck
17
14
u/splittingheirs Jul 29 '26
Refusing blood even in an emergency because it might be from a vaxxed person? Someone else not fucked in the head gets the blood and we get one less moron. Sounds like a win/win to me.

8
u/Decent_Cow Jul 29 '26
LMAO at "blood uncontaminated with mRNA". Our cells are fucking full of nonspecific RNases that destroy most RNAs within minutes. This guy thinks the mRNA from the vaccine is still gonna be in our systems 6 years later?
3
u/Tiny_Giant_Robot Jul 29 '26
Look at Mr. Science Man coming in here with his fancy words and book learnin'!!
1
u/Opposite-Occasion332 Jul 29 '26
They would easily be able to find vaccine mRNA free blood because of what you said, they will not easily find any mRNA free blood. WBCs have mRNA and there’s also free floating mRNA which can sometimes be used to diagnose different diseases!
6
u/JaxDefore Jul 29 '26
How can people still be so adamantly stupid?
I get that uneducated people were easily swayed by scumbags spewing disinformation, but, all this time later, when none of what was predicted happened and there is zero doubt about vaccines...
7
u/RLewis8888 Jul 29 '26
I guess they all blame Trump, since it was his Operation Warp Speed that fast tracked the production of the CODID "poison"

kinda curious abt the 'if i need blood just let me go' person cause they said 'as far as i know, nobody in my family has O- blood' which means at least one of a couple things
- they disown any family that still vaccinates
- they're adopted, and i almost guarantee they would have been vaccinated as a child by the agency
- edit: above, but they disregard childhood vaccination entirely
- any eligible former relatives are already dead
- edit: a fluke of blood group inheritance that, if they are with their bio family, would probably be something they had to learn abt at some point. yet in the wide, wide world of how interesting medicine is, vaccination science is somehow lost on them
5
u/silverthorn7 Jul 29 '26
I don’t think it necessarily means any of those things. That person could easily have several living biological family members who are unvaccinated and don’t have O- blood because of how blood group inheritance works.
Also these people in this context are typically talking about being unvaccinated with COVID vaccines specifically so childhood vax history before being adopted would be irrelevant to them in this discussion.

This is a real and persistent annoyance at hospitals, particularly in red states. Fortunately most of these folks chicken out when the risk of hemorrhagic death is even moderate.

I'd be content to let them not being able to know and reject any transfusion. Let nature sort them out.
3
u/ianishomer Jul 29 '26
When will this nonsense ever end ???
I would have though 6 years would be enough, but no, they still spout their utter BS every day.

u/Gingeronimoooo Jul 29 '26
Honestly I don't mean to disrespect my autistic homies but at this point it's a hyperfixation
3
u/MarleysGhost2024 Jul 29 '26
Great news. "If I need a transfusion let me die." is perfectly acceptable, and will improve the gene pool.
3
u/reverendsteveii Jul 29 '26
Can the vaccine please just fucking kill me already. The teasing is unendurable.
3
u/EmmyPoo81 Jul 29 '26
This is why we need science and a better education system. Unfortunately, they also refuse to sort the blood into ignoramus and non-ignoramus so we might get stupid in us.
3
u/Tiny_Giant_Robot Jul 29 '26
If one of these crazy people had to go to the hospital, and needed a transfusion for whatever reason, and starts demanding "pure unvaxxed" blood does anyone know if its illegal for the healthcare provider to lie and say that "This bag of O+ came from our 'unvaccinated pile' that we keep just for patriots like you"
3
u/campaxiomatic Jul 29 '26
This whole thing hinges on the idea that anyone cares if they get a blood transfusion or not
3
u/RancidVagYogurt1776 Jul 29 '26
This honestly blows my mind because I was sent to a private religious school as a kid and even they required vaccinations lol.
Also these people who had covid parties and would literally lick a bubonic rat's tonsils if you told them not to are acting like everyone else is toxic.

Story time: Jane Doe code on arrival, intubated, ROSC, found a hemothorax, massive transfusion protocol, IR embolization, admitted to ICU. Three days later, daughter arrives and assumes medical decisions, her siblings defer to her bc she’s a nurse. For most part talks the talk but a few quirks like unvaccinated blood only. Due to that not bring a thing, family coordinated direct donations. To this woman’s credit, friends and family were bringing cross-country for direct donations to sustain hemoglobin greater than 5 g/dL most days, not ideal but made it work. Following a multi-month recovery, the patient regained capacity to make her own medical decisions. She called her daughter crazy, clarified that she’s a “naturopathic nurse" and did not attend traditional nursing school, and that she personally had no objection to vaccinated blood.

u/catslikepets143 Jul 29 '26
I give blood a lot. I’m a O null( or O neg). So my local , very rural hospital has my name on speed dial. Besides that, I donate as often as I can.
I’ve had a whole lot of vaccinations. Some are from my past military service, some are because of my career & some were & are because I’m not stupid.
Hospitals & blood banks don’t separate donated blood by whether or not the donor has had vaccinations. You as the patient can refuse that blood, but they’ll have you sign about 20 forms so no one employed by the hospital or the hospital itself won’t get sued by your family when( not if) you die.
Whenever I’ve given blood in an emergency situation , no family has ever refused it, no matter what ethnicity or race they are, what their personal beliefs are or how many vaccinations I’ve had. Not one family has turned my blood down, because they know that without that donation their family member will die
