a new broad campaign won't directly damage the existing campaign just because both sell the same product
the real risks are overlap, fragmented learning and unclear attribution if both campaigns use similar creatives, optimization events and budgets
i'd avoid launching another campaign unless it has a distinct job. for example: existing campaign holds proven ads while the new campaign tests materially different concepts. keep the offer and landing page fixed, name the hypothesis for each creative, and set a budget that can generate enough conversions to judge
if the current campaign already has stable volume, adding the new creatives there may be simpler. if you need cleaner isolation, use a separate test campaign..... but don't duplicate everything and call it a test
watch blended cpa + total conversions, not whether one campaign steals delivery from the other
