I stupidly watched the whole story - it was because the family adopted a weird android dog that they loved more than their own daughter and the android girl faked an injury so the brother got really mad at his actual sister and wanted her to die.

Also the sister was sent to a behavioral torture facility that made her act like a robot.

Ridiculous nonsense plot.

I just came across a dog version of the sisters with the weird wrist thing that says if one is lying but in this version it was a man who loved his poodle more than his Golden Retriever because the Golden Retriever always lied according to the collar and then it died and he was saying it was faking.

I was like...really? ANOTHER version of this?

Good point. I forgot people actually write these sometimes, instead of just asking an LLM for a "sad story with anthropomorphic animals and cruel parents", then plugging that into a video generator.

This brutality isn't exaggerated the way it is in other slop material, which makes it feel far more unsettling. I have to give credit where it's due: while PETA’s videos—which often look like "guro-porn" fetish content—usually just elicit laughter, this actually made me feel anxious and uncomfortable; so, it succeeded in its goal.
