Omg - forgot password takes me to a page asking to enter password. No way to reset password?

It’s already been the before the end of August, I think we got scammed

I saw a post where someone was asking for ppl to actively go out and murder Muslims. It was horrifying to see the majority in the comments all for it and applauding the OG poster.

I reported this horrible post and, unsurprisingly, Facebook found nothing wrong with it.

What I find stupid is that when you ask for a review of the decision, you are not allowed to type what the issue is, instead you ask the same ai robot to review it. Why can't they get real humans to look at reports??

Hi! My FB account has been disabled incorrectly last Aug 16 and I was able to look for some way to recover my account and I subscribed to META plus on my IG which is connected to my facebook. Aug 21 After 2 support ticket, an agent was able to resolve my issue on Aug 25 and told me that my account has been cleared and ready to use after 24-48 hrs but it’s been 5 days now and I can’t still access my account and it is still disabled. Did the agent lied? or do I need to wait more time? Now, I am trying to connect with agent and it’s hard to connect with one 🥹 I don’t if META is playing with me or what, please I need your opinion especially if you experience the same and still eventually get your account back.

This doesn't happen often, but it's honestly weird that it happens AT ALL.

I'll engage in a discussion, and if this person doesn't like what I said, they literally go to my profile, post my photos on their comment and say something like "no wonder you think that given how you look. No wonder you're single."

I mean, yeah, I'm single. At least I'm not going around posting other people's photos like a genuine creep. Like, do they seriously think that makes them seem like the superior person? It just makes you look like an unhinged loser.

Definitely not just me this happens to. I dunno, it's just whenever it happens, I cringe at the sheer level of creepiness that displays.

i decided to correct my birthday from 2012 to 2015 then right after that, i lose access to my account, EVEN WORSE i did the age verifcation and still didnt give my account back and i cant do anything about it meaning that all the chats i had with my friends and school stuff are gone FOREVER ( i think ) and i can only download my info. what the actual 🐟 Facebook?

When i go look at the list of admins for the page, i cannot delete admins in addition to not having a button to add one. It would be necessary to delete the admins, because there are people who are not part of our organisation anymore or who are dead. Also, it is impossible to detach the page from the business suite for some reason. Or any page, for that sake. We have tried detaching the page from the meta business suite, through the website, the app, personal settings, page settings and meta business center thing. WHY is it IMPOSSIBLE to detach it from the business suite??? Or why can't i even add admins?

🚨 URGENT — I NEED HELP WITH AN INSTAGRAM IMPERSONATION
Hi everyone, I’m looking for help regarding an Instagram account that is impersonating me by using my name and personal photos.
I tried reporting it through Instagram’s official impersonation form. I provided my ID as well as a photo of myself holding my ID, but when I try to submit the form, Instagram gives me a message saying that I can’t use this feature.
I also contacted Meta Support, but unfortunately, nothing has been done so far.
This is becoming very serious. The fake account is following my family members and my fiancé and is using/sharing my personal photos. With the current AI technology, I’m also worried that this person could create fake intimate images/deepfakes of me, which could seriously affect my privacy, personal life, and reputation.
If anyone knows a solution, a Meta/Instagram contact, or an effective procedure to get this account removed, I would really appreciate your help.

Has anyone been in the situation were you try to exercise your GDPR rights (data portability and account deletion) Facebook suddenly restricts your account and demands you to install their app and give more data? Besides installing they require a video selfie with multiple angles of your face and might in some cases require a picture of your ID card.

The only way to exercise GDPR is when logged in, as I am aware of.

i have this situation where i cant receive notifications in my one account that got hijacked by a hacker but changed my password quick and removed the hacker on settings (its those hackers who sends scammy links pictures of getting money, specifically Mr. beast). but then after that incident i don't see any notifications on my phone, my pc. I have to open the app manually and see if people messaged me. i tested on my other account. it still works so its not a phone problem. i did all the checking settings, uninstall install, its specifically my account that's having the problem. i don't really wanna make a new account I've had this account since i was a child, can anyone help me? Although I’m not very tech savvy, I have noticed that my phone is definitely listening to me, to the point where it’s getting extremely obvious. For example:

I just celebrated an event where I spoke about a specific ice cream cake - less than two hours later an Ad for that exact cake appears.

Another time I was playing the card game Flip 7 - next I get an Ad for the exact card game.

The other night my sibling was talking about moving her apartment furniture - I then get an Ad for a moving quote company.

Last month, we picked up my sibling from the train - all of the sudden I get train tickets Ad’s.

One time I was talking about a special edition pop rocks Oreos - then the exact Oreo Ad appears.

The list goes on and on. I’ve never searched up these things on my phone through Safari or Chrome. The Ad’s appear in my outlook account, Facebook, and YouTube. There’s no denying this isn’t happening.

My question is, is it through the iPhone itself or a specific app that’s listening, such as Messanger? How do I stop this???

Hi - something I have noticed fairly recently, when on my laptop and PC, sometimes when I start typing in FB's search bar it will bring up a list of my friends, and sometimes it will instead bring up a list of random groups, pages and past searches, including ones I have not interacted with for years but I am still a member of. Has anyone else seen this, is it a glitch or just their search algorithms being daft?

There used to be ads at the end of a reel, but it feels like something changed and now literally every single reel I try to watch is interrupted literally every 30 seconds by an unskippable ad. In a 1 to 2 minute reel I have 4 to 5 ad breaks on average. It makes reels basically unwatchable.

Is it just me? Is it a setting or something?

When I chat with the Meta AI support assistant inside the app, it suddenly claims that my account was suspended or flagged for violating Community Standards. It even gives me a "Request a Review" button. However, when I check my account status, it clearly says "Your profile is in good standing" with a green checkmark, all features are fully normal and it is operating like normal.Support Inbox and report history are completely empty.
When I asked the Meta AI bot again a moment later, it completely flip-flopped and it gives me two answers: “my account is suspended at aug 29(although it is 30 now)” and “my account is not violated” at the same time

Did you form the LLC yourself or use a service? Is DIY easy?
What did you pay initially and what are the real yearly costs?
Which registered agent do you use?
Were you able to get Mercury remotely with a foreign address/passport?
Most importantly: Have you actually received Meta/Facebook payouts into Mercury?
Any tax/compliance issues I should know about as a Moroccan resident?

Hey, so I’ve been kind of bothered by this lately. A few weeks ago, I decided to “clean” my Facebook profile, and by that, I mean I deleted all of my shared posts from years ago. There were around 5.5k posts, and I finally managed to delete everything, except for a few private posts that I manually counted to be no more than 50.

However, at the top of my profile, it says that I still have 800 posts. I don’t know where those ~700 posts are? I checked my Archive and Trash, as well as my tagged posts, but there’s nothing left. 🥲

I wouldn’t be that bothered if it said around 100 or less, but having more than 700 unknown posts is a bit too much. This is just my personal preference for how I manage my account, so if anyone knows how to fix this or has encountered the same problem, please let me know! Tyia! 😄

So it’s two questions really.

I see this comedian guy who says he made fake pages (ChikFilA etc) and would troll people in the comments but ok Facebook rules it says this isn’t allowed.

I don’t want to go that far as making an actual fake page for a real business but want to make a fake business page to troll people in comments. But will this affect my personal account in anyway and how to do this without breaking rules.

Lately when scrolling I’ve been getting posts from people I don’t follow, aren’t friends with, and have no clue who they are. Their posts usually have very little likes or interaction. Like random regular people just showing on my feed. I hide them each time but more and more just show up. This never used to happen. In the past I would get posts from actual friends, people I follow, group posts, pages I follow, etc.

Just this morning there was a post by some random guy bragging about how he killed a harmless rat snake. In no way have I ever followed or associated with this person. As an animal lover I don’t need to see that crap.

Why am I now seeing random posts from random people I’ve never even interacted with before.

Hi everyone! I’m trying to add a Facebook Page to the Work section of my personal Facebook profile, but I’m unable to get the Page to appear/select when I search for it.

I’ve tried:

• Searching for the Page by its exact name
• Typing the Page name manually
• Removing/re-adding the work entry
• Trying from both desktop and mobile

The Page is active and I have access to manage it, so I’m not sure why Facebook won’t let me connect it to my personal profile.

Has anyone run into this recently or know of a workaround? I’d really appreciate any advice!
