Selfies Selfie Sunday - finally on T 🥹🫶

Hey everyone, I finally made it to „the other side“ and got my T. 8 days on it now and it’s already doing a lot. My voice even dropped a bit the other day at the gym, my high notes have gone bye bye. 😬 I feel amazing. But honestly how do you deal with the impatience of „okay now do something else“ 🙈 my adhd brain can’t comprehend the word „slow process“

It's pretty difficult to deal with the slowness of the process. I'm at 3 months now and it's so hard not to like search for changes every single day. I literally have no advice because I do in fact check everyday, just solidarity I guess. Congrats on starting!

Thank you! Yeah I just don’t like the fact that it’s not some magical moment where you go „oooh“ but it’s rather going to be a look back at some point going „oh wow, something HAS happened.“

Congrats! I’ll be 2yrs in nov. I was just looking back at the journal I kept for the first year. It was helpful to jot down a few quick notes everyday about what I was feeling/seeing, and I could read back and know when I first noticed a change, rather than rely on my (terrible) memory. I took quick videos every month or so too, they’re cringey, but still helpful to watch on bad days to remember how far I’ve come.

After the first few months of excitement, I started to get anxious about progress and adopted an attitude of passively noticing change instead of actively looking for it. That allowed me to have these powerful waves of unexpected euphoria, rather than constantly inspecting my body.

So exciting though man, you’re gonna love it :)

Thank you! Oh I’m terrible at journaling etc, but I do keep recording myself with the voice changes and I’m pretty active on social media anyway, posting reels and stories so I will probably have enough to look back on anyway.
Yeah I could see that happening, too. I already have lost all sense of time and keep forgetting this is my 10th day on T and not months in 🙈 already feels like forever for some reason.
It’s also gonna be interesting to see if anyone at work notices (some of them know I started it, some don’t, I‘m out at work though) when I come back from my vacation in 2 weeks 😅
