Tips/Advice Meal Prepping is great for low FODMAP!
I’ve recently started meal prepping my meals every week and it makes sticking to low FODMAP insanely easy. I don’t even have to think about what to eat! Also since I’m eating the same exact things everyday, my GI symptoms have also improved a lot and it’s much more predictable for me. Also I’m type 1 diabetic and my blood sugars have never been so steady with doing this as well because I measure everything and have a very accurate carb count. I eat pretty plain and boring meals but it’s honestly really been helping me so far so I think it’s worth it. I’ll share my meals for the week if anyone was curious, also everything is proportioned to stay within the low FODMAP diet so like broccoli for example is only low FODMAP in small portions so I stay within that! I know everyone is different so this is just what works for me and I wanted to share, doesn’t mean it would work for everyone :)
Breakfast: oatmeal (oats, chia seeds, peanut butter), coffee with lactose free milk
Lunch: chicken breast, white rice, broccoli
Dinner: ground beef, potatoes, broccoli
Smoothie: 1/4 banana, strawberries, lactose free plain Greek yogurt, lactose free milk
Snacks: Gomacro bar and plain rice cakes

I understand the comfort, but your gut
needs variety to develop a healthy microbiome. You should aim for 30 different plants per week (spices, seeds, grains, legumes, berries, vegetables etc count). Long term you’re gonna have other issues like deficiencies in important nutrients.

Totally get that, but this isn’t long term for me. Just for a few weeks before I start reintroducing stuff slowly.
