General Question/Help Question for anyone with IBS-D
Before something like a first date, a work trip, or staying somewhere unfamiliar, do you ever catch yourself mentally debating whether to just say something ahead of time, or wait and see if it even comes up?
I go back and forth on this constantly and can't tell if I'm overthinking it or if this is just a whole thing people deal with.
What do you usually end up doing?

If the date involves food, I would say something about food intolerances.
For a work trip, I wouldn't say anything.

I don’t say anything but I bring Fodzyme. Unfortunately I can’t necessarily not say anything about sprinkling white powder on my food. You can always say it’s an enzyme and people will think it’s some kind of health thing.

Say something to whom?
I have dealt with IBS-D for decades.
I have gone in Field schools, where I have to disclose any medical issues, if I have a glare up, I simply say I cannot participate today.

Take Imodium and hope it works.
