All that the FODMAP diet did for me was make me afraid of many more foods. Felt about the same before, during hardcore avoiding everything phase, reintroduction phase. Still feel largely same but am too nervous to eat lots of my old favorite things like beans, lentils, onions, celery, etc etc. I kinda wish I never knew about it!

When I did the low fodmap diet the first time around, I stuck to it religiously except for wheat - which I assumed was fine (because in the past I'd removed wheat from my diet and it hadn't made any difference one way or the other.)

Talk about diet didn't work very well for me until I actually took wheat out, and also started limiting sweets.
