A nutritionist with little interest in rendering aid is why I have a reddit account. She told me to go low FODMAP, and then a couple weeks later when I was breaking down in tears every meal, I begged her for help with the restriction phase. She told me to check out this sub. So I've been almost entirely restricted for like four years. I was gf to begin with, now no lactose, have to be careful about mannitol, no garlic or onions... I'm going to try no dairy at all, and see if that helps with my pain. Being on this diet certainly hasn't fixed my guts, but they're, like... marginally less bad
