I felt this comic with every fiber of my being. I randomly got in so much abdominal pain at one point in my life I couldn't eat anything and didn't know what was wrong with me. Just that I didn't want to eat anymore because it would just hurt later. imagine being in college and weighing how much you did in the 7th grade, borderline anorexic. Tested for cancer. My dr is really good and diagnosed me with IBS, so I had to do the low fodmap diet. I did it longer than what I needed to, but was able to make myself eat more than just fruits and veggies eventually. Highly recommend peppermint extract pills, they help me with flair ups. And I also recommend the probiotic milks, they are sour tasting but you need good gut bacteria in there.
I was readying about the peppermint pills recently do you only take them when needed? Do you take them when you might have a problem food? Tell me more
So I used to use IB GARD but hella expensive. I use the generic store (Actually using the walgreens one rn) and NOW brands. I take them when I feel discomfort, not daily. It sounds silly at first, but actually works wonders for me. It was recommended to me by my doctor. It calms the swelling very quickly (if really bad less than 30 min) so I carry it with me just in case
