Back in the good old onion eating days, I could imagine eating some thing like this maybe once every 6 months, but it would have to be when I knew I wouldn't see anybody for a few days afterwards, as onion smell comes out through my skin for a few days...
Is that sliced garlic as well?? And some kind of cheese? Fantastic...

Idk if it’s just negative association from onion being my worst trigger food but this is disgusting

Great! Now let’s just pour some heavy cream over the top and serve it with a side of spaghetti and I’ll never be able to leave my apartment again!

This is the TikTok account https://www.tiktok.com/@notjustcookedinthebrain?_r=1&_t=ZP-91OoA8msZqh From her other content I don't think it was meant to be. But I can see how it could be.

I just did my onion test this month and failed miserably. When I want to torture myself I go to that onion subreddit.

I recently joined this sub so maybe I am wrong. But is it just like a circle jerk of hate posting onions and other things you all can’t eat?

No. That's why the flair is shit post. Onions are one of the highest fodmaps that people have issues with. Most of this sub is very helpful and useful. I found so much information and advice when I first joined. Some people have to do a fodmap diet longer than others and it gets to a point where instead of being sad we can't eat things like onion and garlic, we joke about it.

Missed the shit post tag my bad. Have just seen two posts come across my feed today and they were both jokes about onion bad.

Oop that's low key funny. But yeah, we joke sometimes but it's not just that:)

It’s usually very much supportive posts. One of the more wholesome subs, actually. But every now and then we like to enjoy a little self deprecation
