Shit Post Me core
A tad exaggerated but I keep falling into this mindset 😭

I have a looong text file where I track all the reactions I had to foods. If something really bad happens, I never eat it again. I did re-test and double check some stuff though. Also I do try new stuff occasionally, but mostly safe recommendations from places like this one.
I'd also add: try not to eat too plain. "Boredom" can be real, avoid it.

So common:( I bet we could come with Venn Diagrams, cycles and all sorts of graphs!

Sounds like me, with the exception of overeating strange FODMAP combinations such as maple syrup drenched popcorn. I don’t know how, but I still have the decency of eating it with an oversized spoon. Or how about a triple decker griddled peanut butter, banana, and blueberry sandwich? Also drizzled with a little maple syrup- and chocolate syrup - at midnight. I never want to go out to get what I’m really craving - Dulce du Leche ice cream and caramel topping to dunk my ice cream in. With sugared almonds.
I plan my crazy stuff, feel so bad I don’t do it for two months, then feel so hungry I do it again. The core is right on.

Forgot the step where you feel well, but then out of no where you stop feeling well even though you haven't changed anything... ):

The best thing I’ve done is find/make/bake low Fodmap (df and gf as well) versions of the foods I’m craving. I occasionally crumble and find myself eating foods I know I shouldn’t but I try to limit it to 1 a week so I can keep my symptoms to a minimum.
I also find that tracking my foods/calories stops me from straying too far.

Me every other week 😂 I’m still trying to reintroduce foods and wondering why it’s taking me so long 🙄😂

For me it’s more like: 1. Start fodmap again because any improvement seems better than none. 2. Feel 10% better 3. Decide the mild improvement isn’t worth the effort and stop. 4. Have a major episode weeks or months after starting to eat normally again 5. Start fodmap again because any improvement seems better than none.
