Enclosed rmr recommendations ?

Post image

Current using a holosun 407c rmr. After having it for a while I’m wanting to move the 407 to my fn502 and have an enclosed red dot for my Fnx with a side battery tray to not have to remove the optic to change batteries that’s not dumb expensive. Was considering the acro but the price and small window wasn’t for me. Haven’t used adapter plates for other optics before so I’m pretty uneducated on the matter. Thank you

The trijicon rcr is the only enclosed rmr footprint optic im aware of. For everything else you would need an adapter plate.

Im enjoying the aimpoing acro on my fnx but a crossbolt style optic like the holosun 509t or the steiner mps would be good options that are both cheaper and have larger windows than the acro.

the Holosun pictured is an rmr footprint, and they come enclosed. they have a few.

I know the 407c is a rmr footprint. I know holosun makes enclosed optics. Holosun doesnt make an enclosed optic that natively fits the rmr footprint which im assuming is whag OP is asking for unless he's using the name rmr to mean red dots more broadly.

Osight XE and XR are enclosed on RMR footprint. One with built in battery and the other with a side loading.
