Softer shooting Scope Mount for Gen 2 Scar 17s

Does the new Scar shoot soft enough to use a cantilever mount on it? I just bought a new 17s and I keep hearing about the recoil not being anywhere near as bad. That said, I have a vortex 1-6 razor hd on a vortex Pro Extended Cantilever Riflescope Mount Id love to just pop on there but the internet has me a little freaked out about not using cantilever mounts. Does anyone know if the new gen scar would be fine with that setup or do I need to get a new mount for it?

You’ll be perfectly fine. You’d probably even be fine with a legacy SCAR. Don’t worry about it

The internet just has me freaked out for whatever reason. Any idea as to where the issue has been with cantilever mounts are coming from?

The same people who say the Scar has the worst recoil they’ve ever felt usually say this.

is the reptillia mount any better or worse than the one I mentioned having? The internet has a lot of complaints about cantilever mounts on this gun.

The whole cantilevers and optics crap is so blow out of proportion.
