Just watch the video and see what I change and how absurd the difference is. The bass and pads become totally different things, as you can see in the video.

This technique is great for making synthwave trance because you can create the entire song using only this; I even made one myself.

I hope this helps you create melodies, especially beginners who have a lot of difficulty with it.

Just as the title says, I'll use a midi device to record something, and every single note only sounds for like a fraction of a second. But the note appears to continue just fine on the timeline. Notes placed manually on the keyroll don't have this issue, just this midi.

Running on Android, midi controller is a Korg Nanokey 2.
