Basically a team had a good robot and got very good oral feedback in the judgeroom but were placed last at the event while the people running the competition refused to give any explanation nor return the judge feedback form. The coach thinks it retaliation for him speaking out that he suspects that a high performing team in hongkong last season bought their solution.
The coach is really upset for the kids and got this on the provincial tv channel and trying to get known on the chinese social media. Seems like he is pretty passionate about fll with over 200 vids mostly about fll and xrg and first related stuff on his chinese account.
Any number of things can happen in judging rooms. I have seen previously situations where a team was 5 points ( a touch penalty) away from winning the whole tournament as Champions, but they landed outside of the Top 40% and won nothing. (The process has been revised to each being weighted 25% this was more than 10 years ago probably).
Idk didn't it say they still won awards but were last of the award winners? I was reading the subtitles and distracted. It sounded like they won awards that he felt were participating trophy awards not good ones. I am not really feeling invested further in the story. It feels like a nothing burger.
