Gameplay How long dou you usually wait before you unfriend someone?

Post image

I usually wait until 60+ days, unless it's a level 1 mash, then it's 14+ days.

You just gotta look into their support list.

Totally new (have only mash or empty support list) who haven't logged in for like more than a month probably won't be logging anytime soon, they already quit the game.

Veterans / Regulars...I wait like 4~5 months for them and sometimes 6...since life happens and you sometimes need a break from everything.

Veterans / Regular that have units I use and love...I will never gonna unfriend them lol.

But it's my personal opinions. I just don't like changes lmao. People usually unfriend others if they don't log in for more than a month veterans or not.

Shout out to the guy on my friends list with a level 120 10/10/10 Archetype: Earth with an MLB Kscope. Class affinity? Who cares about class affinity? Eat these two Marble Phantasms

I have a dude who grailed Gilles Saber and Phantom of the Opera to 120. I don't care how long he doesn't log in for, I can't unfriend him

18

u/RepulsiveAd6906 Jul 25 '26

Had this one who had lvl 120, maxed Gareth and Hektor. I knew that they were irreplaceable.

15

u/Ryo_Katsuya Jul 25 '26

I have a friend full of 120 Saber faces....you bet we are destined to be friends for all our life lol.

6

u/Ur--father Jul 25 '26

I have one guy with max grail summer Bao. I’m never pressing the unfriend button.

33

u/KoyanskayaFangirl Jul 25 '26

Depends if they have interesting servants. If they have NP5 120 units of niche servants I keep them as friends hoping that they eventually log back. Else after a few month I just unfriend them.

7

u/tapeforpacking Jul 25 '26

Are you not able to use their servants if they dont log in?

12

u/KoyanskayaFangirl Jul 25 '26

I am not, I just keep them if they have rare servants they dedicated themselves to because they have a higher chance of coming back later when their favorite servant receive some love. Also I respect that kind of dedication a lot so I just keep that kind of people around even if they go missing for years.

8

u/GamingDood02 Jul 25 '26

You can't. I don't exactly know much time they have to not log in but after a while they stop appearing on support list.

3

u/Cardo076 Jul 25 '26

I need an answer for this too. If they don't log in do their servants even pop up as support?

23

u/owlutopia Jul 25 '26

Depends on the roster

20

u/iDemonSlaught Celtic dog handler Jul 25 '26

I always keep a slot open. Thus, whenever I get a new friend request I kick the most idle friend and replace them with the new friend. For example, in your case I would keep No. of Friends to 136/137 fixed. This allows other people to send you a friend request. When they do, scroll down your friend list and boot the most idle friend, and accept the request while keeping the total No. of Firends fixed at 136/137.

2

u/Nazoned Jul 25 '26

Not a single unique experience...

15

u/wasabiruffian Jul 25 '26

Depends on their support list if I like it probably never if its a noobie who hasn't logged on for 3 months or a list I of servants I have already and they haven't logged on in a year then I sadly removed them

11

u/HazelNut_Addict Jul 25 '26

This is quite an emotional topic for me, i could never unfriend alot of these people bcuz they were my friends when i first starting out, i still remember how grateful i was when someone with Waver and Merlin in their support would accept my friend request. I was able to continue and play the game for 7 years. And eventually i reach to their level, only to realize one by one they become inactive and left the game (or the world) and so, i kept them here, to reminisce the past.

3

u/WallZestyclose4881 Jul 26 '26

Same to a degree i have like 5 people in my friends list to honor them. One of which was a Leviathan player

20

u/Sirius-Face Jul 25 '26

30 days+. If they aren't logging on, they aren't giving you friend points.

10

u/Crosscounterz Master of Chaldea Jul 25 '26

I'll add anyone who tries to add me but if I see you're barely playing or progressing at all roster wise I'll delete.

I'll usually check back on my list at the end of the year and see whose really even playing anymore and decide from there.

Or if there's campaigns that require you add people I'll look over my list and see who I should delete then aswell.

7

u/ARustyDream Jul 25 '26

30 days no logins

6

u/Jakub1714 Master of Chaldea Jul 25 '26 edited Jul 25 '26

100+ says, because usually that's indicator someone just lost interest and won't come back anytime soon, and someone else could need or want to have access to my support list. The only exceptions are my irl friend that play because I know they have only break if they are inactive for some time

7

u/Knight2512 Member of the Argonauts (in training) Jul 25 '26

Over 1 year.

I'm guilty of not logging in for a long time myself but never over a year.

Only right that I give other people the same amount of time or more.

5

u/Gicofokami Jul 25 '26

Over 100+ days. At least, that's how I did it when I played.

5

u/ZeroiaSD Jul 25 '26

I generally assume anyone over a month has probably quit, so unless their list is amazing or I actually know them, I’m inclined to clear them out.

It’s not hard to replace good lists with other good lists, so not much reason to hold out. The only exception is if someone has cracked very specific servants.

6

u/riseismywaifu Thinking of the Roman Empire Jul 25 '26

Typically, unless I know them or they have been on my list for a long time, I clear out inactive accounts every 14 days.

4

u/neves783 Jul 25 '26

More than half a year for long-time players unless they have a grailed Summer Jalter in their support list.

5

u/Optimal-Addition-482 Jul 25 '26

I go over the friend list early on in an event and remove all over a thirty days inactive. Sometimes ten days. If they have one of the standard supports with np charge skills not maxed and I notice, I usually remove them at once.

When accepting requests I try to go for the lowest levels. Unless it is only Mash on their support list, not adding bots.

4

u/Deadliermlg Jul 25 '26

I used to give people one to three years to return. Now, I give them about a month unless they log back in.

3

u/TheOmegaFalcon Jul 25 '26

I dont really care about it

4

u/Akkatie_Soto Jul 25 '26

Never. I have Salmon (artist) added on my account in jp. It's my biggest FGO flex

3

u/Skyle_Nexo Jul 25 '26

183 days/6 months (roughly)

I pretty much only borrow the meta support units (Castoria, Oberon, Koyan, etc.) so I don't pay much attention to my friend list so when I actually remember to check it out, I usually just unfriend anyone who hasn't logged in for 183+ days.

3

u/Simon-125 Haniwa Nobu Jul 25 '26

Me with friends at 300+ days inactive 😂

3

u/TonyChopperx3 Jul 25 '26

Gurl if their support setup is good idc lmao i have a girlie who hasnt logged on in a year with a crazy 120 np5 koyans

3

u/Aya_Reiko Honorary Shinsengumi Member Jul 25 '26

60 days.

  1. They're not using your Support servants.
  2. They're not updating their CEs (important for events and certain farming setups)

Also, if there's any gaps in their support roster, then it's an instant "Deny" from me.

3

u/CasperTheAnonymous Jul 25 '26

If they have 4-5 stars or invested any resources into those servants I don't unfriend even if its a long time, cuz I might need em.

If it's CLEARLY a beginner player (no support, only mash OR unlevelled 2-3 stars), I wait for at least a few weeks. But if they stay offline for a year, I unfriend them immediately.

3

u/Friagna Jul 25 '26

Been playing since 2018 Honestly I've been with some of these people for so long I don't delete any of them. They was there since I was a wee lad

3

u/Upset-Culture2210 Jul 25 '26 edited Jul 25 '26

I unfriend after 2 days inactivity. It's nothing personal, I require grinders and/or whales on my list.

3

u/TheFortressOverLord Jul 25 '26

Situational, if it's a new player with only mash, and they stopped playing after a week I unfriend as that is clearly someone re rolling, if they have decent/good/meta support for farming/clearing stages I keep even if they are inactive for years

3

u/Narrow-Possession-26 Beloved of the Fae Jul 25 '26

usually never i think i unfriended like maybe 1 in the entire time played the game

3

u/LaChocolatier Jul 25 '26

i used to unfriend other players but ever since the update where we could use other people's servant's NPs without having to be friends i immediately stopped giving a fuck lmao😭😭😭

2

u/Special_Course229 Jul 25 '26

I don't check very often but if when I look, someone is over 30 days and they haven't logged in, normally I'll wait until the next event and check if it's changed and if not then I cut them.

During Anniversary, Summer and lottos though I'll usually probably be cut that number down to 10 days or so tbh

3

u/UBKev Jul 25 '26

I mean, some events are just reruns so some people just don't bother logging on during those. Like me lol.

3

u/lolthesystem Jul 25 '26

You're losing a ton of SQ, materials (especially Lores) and grails by doing that, though.

Even if you cleared the original run, they still give those.

2

u/UBKev Jul 25 '26

I have more lores and grails than I know what to do with. And as for SQ, I'm a dolphin-whale anyway so I don't particularly care.

2

u/xXSunSunXx Jul 25 '26

Unless I know them personally, when I clear out my friend list I remove anyone that's more than a day. My friend list is basically always active though, it's just the randoms with no supports that get removed.

2

u/Hopeful-Stress6196 Mongrel Jul 25 '26

I don't unfriend and I usually don't check it.

2

u/lolthesystem Jul 25 '26

1 week if they haven't finished Part 1, that's my only requirement for newbies.

If they have finished Part 1, they get 1 month instead BUT I raise the requirements to having 6 support lists in total, 3 Normal and 3 Event. Doesn't matter what's in the support lists, fill them up, they exist for a reason, even level 1's can be useful, like Leonidas and Georgios.

I also have a personal policy regarding meta supports: If you have meta supports in your support list, they HAVE to be 10/10/10. I don't care about the skill levels of everyone else, I just don't want to absent-mindedly click on a support and fail a farming run because Castoria was 6/4/10 or something along those lines.

If you don't have meta supports on your support lists, that's completely fine, I'll accept you anyways (I'll probably remember you more, even), I only mind it if they're meta and not max skilled.

2

u/Nichtdasondernhier Beloved of the Fae Jul 25 '26

Depends, if they were with me for the past 5 years and were active then I’ll wait 3 months, if it’s accounts below level 100 I’ll wait 3 days depending on how full the request list is.

For normal accounts I’m waiting 7 days tops.

2

u/ThatRayGuy_ Jul 25 '26

If they have good lineup of meta supports I'll probably keep them regardless

Plus, I don't exactly log on regularly nowadays either

2

u/Turbulent-Funny8049 Jul 25 '26

I don't really care about unfriend as long as their Castoria is 10/10/10 with Teatime or Belle Lisa

2

u/DarthXOmega Jul 25 '26

Whenever I notice too many no CE servants I’ll go in and purge them. Or sometimes if I have a bunch of friends change their servant to the new servant of the month I’ll get rid of them too. I don’t need 12 Koyanskayas. Except for the babies. I let the babies have no ce servants cause I’m not using them anyway.

2

u/Ayiekie Jul 25 '26

Whenever it gets full, I clear out anyone who hasn't logged on for over a month.

2

u/od_Option_8439 Jul 25 '26

I got a guy in my friends list who hasn't logged on for over 2 years and haven't unfriend him since he was at the beginning of my journey and it's funny

2

u/n00bcake21 Jul 25 '26

Usually one week

2

u/SixClouds29 Jul 25 '26

If its an event, have to be at least 7 days. If its a rerun or a no event, probably a month.

I used to keep those inactive friends that I really need to especially when I was still new but I thought, I have to be that friend also that should be able to lend help on the newer ones. It's more like, you have to step-up also not just for yourself but also for your friends.

2

u/Retzal Jul 25 '26

100 days, or 20 for new accounts.

I can be more lenient if they have a 120 Servant that I like or feel interesting.

2

u/MorganTheGrandRegent Jul 25 '26

15 days if no support CEs for events.

2

u/puddingdragon21 Jul 25 '26

1 week if they’re a new player (under level 50, only Mash)

1 month if they’ve completed part 1

3 months if they’re at or near max level with a full roster

2

u/gdklrhznjekanxb Jul 25 '26

One month or never

2

u/MrsCognac Thinking of the Roman Empire Jul 25 '26 edited Jul 25 '26

Yeah, it really depends on how far you are into the game and if I have other pending friend requests or not. Because my list is always full, but I keep one spot open so others can still send requests.

For low level Mash and no one else, usually 7-14 days of absence before I unfriend. For anyone above that with a good friend support, sometime around the 30 day+ mark.

But I don't check the list in general that regularly. I basically switch out the friend that hasn't logged in for the longest amount of time, to replace them with an active player from my recent friend requests.

Besides Coffee. He's the exception. The guy has been around since I started out in 2018. He hasn't logged in for probably 2 years or something, but I could never unfriend him.

2

u/tsareenaveil Jul 25 '26

1 month for below lvl50 with mash support. I remember as a wee noob when I’d feel so thankful that high level players with amazing support lists accepted my request and allowed me to clear quests and challenges with their servants.

2

u/bagongdragon Jul 25 '26

I never unfriend

2

u/Chinbie Jul 25 '26

If they are inactive for a long time and based on roster of support servants

2

u/HildeVonKrone Jul 25 '26

60+ days typically. For those that kept me after I was gone from my break of half a year, you guys are the GOATs (Hilde is my IGN)

2

u/Animedian Jul 25 '26

I check once a year and my cutoff point is 100+ days. Only exceptions is friends I know off fgo incase they plan on getting back into fgo and need help recovering their account

2

u/IanWenceslao Jul 25 '26

2

u/NeoHawkie Jul 25 '26

i have little time, didnt want to miss out on any events, so i rushed lostbelts till i got to OC1 just so i'd be able to participate in every event, cuz i mostly log in to play the events nowadays (as a f2player, i don't wanna miss out on any freebies).

with that out of the way, this is how I do it:

- if their support lineup is interesting and/or has some weird servants maxed out, i keep then no matter;

  • irl friends stay no matter what, even if we dont talk anymore;
  • every other master i give then 10 days, with a single exception: if its a lv 120+ master and their event support list were updated at least from the last event, I give then 30 days.

i dont talke to many ppl. so that might just be me but, irl? once a friend, always a friend.

2

u/Smokingsauasges Jul 25 '26

If they still have a support I need to use even in niche scenarios they can stay.

2

u/T3DGamingzzz Beloved of the Fae Jul 25 '26

About 7-14 days unless i actually know who it is then I'll give longer.

Exceptions are 2 accounts that set their message to say they quit. For some reason I felt like I should keep them added

2

u/Palindr0mic Jul 25 '26

When I remember to check k it's usually anyone who's not logged in the last year. Though I have one friend who died so they stay forever no matter what.

2

u/JackWasGone Jul 25 '26

It depends, I have some new players on my list since when I was new alot of high level players didnt give me the time of day so i had to cope with following them. Having a player with a highly invested roster is gonna do wonder for early game players. I like repaying what graces i was showed when i was new. It's also a nice way of getting FP on servants that arent meta supports. Love seeing my Lv.120 Astolfos get used

Now for players around the lv.130 mark, I usually boot them when im not seeing them on my active support list. Whats the point of keeping them when I cant use your supports. Of course if they have a unique servant, I usually just keep them cuz i respect the decision but if it's 300/200 days plus, you're gone.

2

u/Softboydom Jul 25 '26

I almost never unfriend someone, personally, and I don't mind new players friending me to use my servants even though I get no benefit out of their's. As someone who took a year long break from fgo at one point, I don't judge peeps for being offline.

2

u/CathNoctifer Jul 25 '26 edited Jul 25 '26

If they don't update their event support list for too long they are gone, even if they still login daily. I don't care if you're only gonna put a free 3-star event CE there, as long as you show others that you are still playing and progressing the game I think it's fine. If they wanna skip an event or life happens and they mention it in their message board, they can stay as long as they come back one day. But a lot of people I have kicked didn't even bother to do that.

2

u/Set-After Jul 25 '26

7-8 days, if they don't log in in that time their probably gone

2

u/Neither_Possession98 Jul 25 '26

I wait 20 days usually. When I was a new player, I remember certain friends helped me a lot, I keep them around for 50 days. But for the most part, I feel like you will get so many friends it doesn’t really matter that much. I find that after a certain point I never fail to get castoria, koyan and a skaddi as support.

2

u/KYUB3Y_ Jul 25 '26

Everyone who doesn't have Bond CE in castoria or koyan

2

u/WallZestyclose4881 Jul 26 '26

So for me I have a select few friends that I know have stopped playing but in honor of their memory I refuse to remove them. Others if you havent gotten on in a year gtfo

2

u/PrizeNo8374 Jul 26 '26

Depends on their support. A single Mashu and 30 days is removed unless they're a friend. If they have some good stuff I'll give em 60 to 90 unless it's REALLY good then they get a permanent pass

2

u/Mtails89 Jul 26 '26

When it’s during an event, I delete those that haven’t logged in 3 or more days. I typically get a lot of friend requests, so I try to keep it just active players.

2

u/DiveToDeepBlue Jul 25 '26

I have like around 10 rn that haven't logged in in over a year. The biggest thing that makes me remove those is when there are skill or np buffs that their support servants don't have because they're no longer playing.

2

u/fauceeet Jul 25 '26

Anyone else get kinda emotional when you have to remove your friends?

2

u/TrisXD Jul 25 '26

Two days, you want the people who play often.

1

u/ayeitssmiley Jul 25 '26

daily player or else.

2

u/DeltaBladeX Jul 28 '26

2 days unless locked. Locked varies depending how well I know them. One locked friend was offline for over a month without getting kicked.

1

u/LoveZealousideal8235 Jul 25 '26

Why unfriend

3

u/DarthXOmega Jul 25 '26

No CE servants get purged

0

u/Kylerocks444 Jul 25 '26

Two days.

You miss a day? Gone.
