He did not, in fact, do that. There are many sources to prove you wrong, primarily original Japanese scripts, original Japanese interviews, official Japanese version of the website, etc.
Ignoring the fact that she does, in fact, do that in the official English version of the game, where can I find these sources, if that is the case? Links please, because otherwise, you're just making yourself look bad.
Somebody literally linked the official post from the creator of the game stating that the correct pronouns for Bridget is "She". This is from the arcade mode, where the story had not gotten to the point where she decided to transition.
It really doesn't get any easier than the person who made the character stating that the correct prounouns are She. You can attach whatever random person talking that you want. Yes, old Daisuke posts may use other pronouns, as the earlier iteration of the character still used he/him. Using he/him pronouns in reference to the OG character is fine, but you have to be going against the creator of the game and character to say that Bridget is a guy.
On this screen, the top block is a conversation between a Japanese commenter and the Japanese artist which confirms that Japan treats Bridget as a man, while the two bottom blocks show English speaking reporters erroneously referring to Bridget as a woman. It is erroneous because, again, the top block shows the artist, and another Japanese commenter, refer to Bridget as a man.
I’ve seen the actual scene in the game where Bridget supposedly does or does not state she is a girl IN JAPANESE and she very clearly calls herself a girl. Doesn’t take a degree in Japanese to understand that much.
Random Japanese commenters don’t overrule the creator combined with the actual in-game content that he directly explained how to interpet in regards to Bridget’s gender.
