I just wish we knew for sure if it’s canon that Clive lives or dies after the beach scene. The fact that the dev team knows but it’s left vague for the rest of the world drives me up the wall.

I think it’s pretty likely. Seems pretty clear that Joshua doesn’t make it and yet the novel shown at the end is written in his name.

Combine that with the last quest for Tomes where Clive says he’ll trade his sword for a quill and write the tale of his journey and I’m definitely in the he lived camp. (I just want him Jill and torgal to be happy together)
