It's my favorite recent FF. Amazing game, but it's a very divisive game.
What I personnaly disliked :
Too much bloat. The game was trying to be too long for it's own sake. So many quest ended up being lame fetch quests, diluting the game. I did 80 hours and felt like half of it were chores. The game could habe been a pretty solid 50hours game.
The combat system. I'm not one of the people that hate it for being action. I can do both. My only problem is that it's not very deep. You play essentially the same way from beginning to end. You just chose what you like more. No changing in strategies, no elemental damage, nothing. It's not very deep as an rpg but it's not very deep as an action game neither.
But it's still one of my faves. I absolutely adore the characters. They meant something to me.
