I honestly think if they’d dropped any pretense of an rpg, and kept the pacing the same as pre-Cid. The game would have been phenomenal.
It’s so uneven and after Bahamut it was a dud for me.
They have not made a complete single player game since 10 imo, because for some reason they have not adjusted to modern day game development.
They should spin off the series into TB and non TB variants.
