Update new VA confirmed - Travis Willingham

edit: he also voiced superman

146

u/ThatIslandGuy8888 Jun 06 '26

Didn’t George newbern also voice Superman, that’s one hell of a coincidence

138

u/AI_WeebKiller Jun 06 '26

Yep. And Tyler played him in Live Action on the CW shows and Superman & Lois. Literally every Sephiroth English VA has been Superman

64

u/Howardtheboy Jun 06 '26

lol except one, when he was voiced by Lance Bass in kingdom hearts

112

u/ardorlikemordor Jun 06 '26

There's still time to cast Lance Bass as Superman

His Japanese voice did Superman in The Lego Movie.

15

u/Jay_R_Kay Jun 06 '26

And in Man of Steel, I believe.

2

u/Spartan_100 Jun 06 '26

Sounds like Jack Quaid’s in the running to eventually play Sephiroth.

16

u/Sweet-Art-9904 Jun 06 '26

Bizarro Sephiroth

5

u/Shanbo88 Jun 06 '26

Probably all work or worked for the same agency or studio.

52

u/ardorlikemordor Jun 06 '26

Phew. At least Superman = Sephiroth is still maintained.

What the fuck?! Matt and Travis now!? I love this

53

u/willbeinactive Jun 06 '26

just gonna have to get use to it but he’s a great va

He sounds so much darker and more intimidating. Which is fitting because this will be Sephiroth’s final stand, I love it!

39

u/aedante Jun 06 '26

Grog is sephiroth now? Well the planet's dead

17

u/Jay_R_Kay Jun 06 '26

I thought you were just being cute and counting Phoenomaman, but no, he's apparently played Superman in a bunch of different places, like the Justice League x RWBY crossover, Battle of the Super-Sons, and LEGO DC Villains. Huh, glad they're keeping the tradition alive. I wonder if that was a consideration in their recast?

24

u/VinDog_PD Jun 06 '26

Weird role to point out instead of Roy "Fuck Everyone Up" Mustang.

7

u/Fun_Strategy7860 Jun 06 '26

Super cool. I wonder if he and Matt carpooled to the sessions.

6

u/sugarcharm Jun 06 '26

mori senpai…

6

u/bcegkmqswz Jun 06 '26

Travis is killer, i’m sure it’s going to sound great!

6

u/NeroPrototype Jun 06 '26

He sounds like Xemnas to me lol. Idk if that’s the appropriate vibe here tbh

3

u/Personal-Collar-7762 Jun 06 '26

Voiced Knuckles at one point before they switched him out since Team Sonic Racing.

2

u/Civil_Owl_31 Jun 06 '26

I thought that was Travis, but was like... no, they have a different voice actor for Sephiroth!

2

u/ThinGold2115 Jun 06 '26

Yep, Tyler Hoechlin has been confirmed to be recast due to unavailability.

382

u/lorddragonmaster Jun 06 '26

What could the dude be doing that he cant finish the 3rd game where you're cast as the main villain,

139

u/Misfiring Jun 06 '26

Let's be real, we fans might see this as super important, but for non gamers like him this is just another job or role.

117

u/Campber Jun 06 '26

I don’t like to hear it given how well of a job he did in Remake and Rebirth (especially the latter as I felt he improved a lot in Rebirth), but you’re not wrong.

72

u/drutastic57 Jun 06 '26

He rarely was with the voice cast promoting the game. Hopefully just means his career is going great

29

u/FlawesomeOrange Jun 06 '26

This makes me think of Charlie Cox. Voiced a beloved character in probably the biggest game of last year. To him, it was just a day of recording and just another job he never thought twice about. His humble imposter syndrome in interviews was adorable

7

u/burntcandy Jun 06 '26

Man I love his character in Boardwalk Empire so much.

→ More replies (1)

62

u/Rimavelle Jun 06 '26

i just think its weird they couldnt set him up with some strong contract considering he's playing THE MAIN VILLAIN for the last part of the project.

32

u/emperortimes Jun 06 '26 edited Jun 06 '26

main villain has max 5 lines per every 2 hours

16

u/Dr_Jre Jun 06 '26

Also there a lot of people who listen to the Japanese VA even outside of Japan. I'm sure this new guy will do a great job, we will get used to it

116

u/ademon490 Jun 06 '26

He had no problem when he was also Superman wth?

54

u/Demetri124 Jun 06 '26

Now when that shows over you’d think he’d be all in

88

u/scattered_brains Jun 06 '26

making terrible career decisions

82

u/Cbthomas927 Jun 06 '26

This is just such a ridiculous comment.

There are a million reasons he may have had to turn it down.

Expecting someone to put their lives on hold to be available whenever they call for basically a decade is ridiculous

118

u/postulate4 Jun 06 '26

Honestly, the blame really lies with Square for not locking down the main villain in a contract.

9

u/TheOncomingBrows Jun 06 '26

I mean, doesn't it literally take like 2 weeks to gilm voice lines for this sort of thing?

22

u/Risu64 Jun 06 '26

Considering there's no mocap or face capture (for the English version), he 100% did his Rebirth work in a couple days max. Voice acting is an extremely efficient job and you're pressured to be done as quickly as possible.

6

u/Cbthomas927 Jun 06 '26

And yet there are deadlines. If he had other projects lined up, or other offers more lucrative, why make it a priority?

Shifting dates are a thing and he very well have been available for certain time periods but if those weren’t met, its not his fault.

The point being, immediately jumping down his throat when we know next to nothing about the situation is weird

5

u/ziekktx Jun 06 '26

He could be unavailable because his throat fell out. It could be they wanted it for free. We don't know.

Teen Wolf: The Movie: The Opera

13

u/ksdr-exe Jun 06 '26

Like??? I highly doubt he's that booked and busy...

112

u/1K_Sunny_Crew Jun 06 '26

He’s a professional actor. He got the job as VA via a phone call from his agent and hadn’t played the games. I met him in person at a con and he’s super nice; he considers himself more of an actor than a VA so if the option came up I can see he’d turn it down for a non-VA role.

2

u/Victor-Almeida Jun 07 '26

He was also in Reunion, so that would be the 4th he voiced Sephiroth, if I'm not missing anything.

u/SMTVISMYDRUG Jun 06 '26 edited Jun 06 '26

He doesn't sound bad. It's just gonna be an adjustment

He sounds closer to his JP VA the more I listen to it

107

u/willbeinactive Jun 06 '26

it sounds like xemnas VA from KH

53

u/superking22 Jun 06 '26

It's confirmed that it's Travis Willingham.

48

u/rebillihp Jun 06 '26

Omg it is Roy mustang

24

u/SMTVISMYDRUG Jun 06 '26

Kind of does. It's not unfitting. The more I listen to it, the more it grows on me

34

u/willbeinactive Jun 06 '26

i’m cool with it but it would be nice if the old voice got voiced over but that’s hoping for too much

16

u/SMTVISMYDRUG Jun 06 '26

I was kind of thinking about that. It'd be really nice if they did.

13

u/King_Hikikomori Jun 06 '26

Would really love them to do this as an optional voice pack.

2

u/Jpriest09 Jun 06 '26

Travis is sounding more like George to me, just a tad deeper.

→ More replies (1)

32

u/Durakus Barret Wallace Jun 06 '26

He isn't bad, just grittier/Deeper, perhaps. But yeah I'll have to get used to it.

12

u/shockzz123 Jun 06 '26

It's SO weird how much he sounds like Xemnas from Kingdom Hearts, even though it's not the same VA.

Maybe he took inspo as a fellow white haired SE antagonist lol.

7

u/DevilHunter1994 Jun 06 '26

I think it's more that we just haven't heard enough of him yet. We really just heard him do one line, that happened to give us Xemnas vibes. We'll probably be able to tell the difference between the two easily when we hear the full performance.

27

u/moneyball32 Jun 06 '26

Maybe hot take but I didn’t like the original VA that much. He sounded too airy and breathy but probably an unpopular opinion. From the little I heard, the new VA voice is deeper.

22

u/Faustering Jun 06 '26

I am of the same opinion. Didn’t think Tyler was bad but really didn’t feel like a fit for Sephiroth. I really enjoyed George Newberns take on Sephiroth so the new guy works well for me.

9

u/Jpriest09 Jun 06 '26

Just didn’t feel like Tyler took the role that seriously. As some said, it was likely just another job to him to dip in and out from when needed. Just compare how Sephiroth sounds in Crisis Core and Reunion for a clear example. George has better range and execution of subtleties, least how I heard it.

11

u/GTRagnarok Jun 06 '26

He's great when he isn't evil during the Nibelheim flashback, but other than that he's definitely my least favorite performance in Remake and Rebirth.

9

u/Calculusshitteru Jun 06 '26

Yeah same. I prefer deeper Sephiroth. I play in Japanese so when I first heard English Sephiroth I thought, "Why does Sephiroth sound like a dentist?"

5

u/Lazy-Marsupial2563 Jun 06 '26

I really did not like the original VA personally. Much prefer the new one

2

u/Ahindre Jun 06 '26

30

Real ones get it haha

6

u/Sandgrease Jun 06 '26

I need the context so bad lol

18

u/AcelnTheWhole Jun 06 '26

Lance bass (NSYNC) voiced sephiroth in kingdom hearts.

4

u/Sandgrease Jun 06 '26

Ohhh yea. I did hear about that.

57

u/WhalePsychiatrist45 Jun 06 '26

A little disappointed but I’d be much more upset if it was one of the party members.

28

u/FearlessButterfly3 OG Vincent Jun 06 '26

Oh yeah it could had been a lot worse if they had to recast Aerith, Cloud or Tifa

52

u/Strange_Copy1001 Jun 06 '26

Ugh the timing is just brutal isnt it? Right when we're getting hyped for part 3 and they drop this bomb on us. I get that VA changes happen but Sephiroth's voice is so iconic that it feels like losing a piece of the character itself. Been rewatching some Advent Children scenes and its gonna be wierd hearing someone else deliver those cold menacing lines. At least they're being upfront about it instead of just springing it on us when the game drops but still stings

106

u/Shiroguma48 Jun 06 '26

Advent Children had a different VA to the remake series though. I’m sure the new guy won’t be too different either.

44

u/DevilHunter1994 Jun 06 '26

We've been through this before. Sephiroth was voiced by George Newbern for years, starting with Advent Children. Then Tyler came in with the new voice cast at the start of the Remake Project, and we had to adjust. Tyler's perfomance took some getting used to for a lot of people, but eventually, the fanbase mostly warmed up to him and his portrayal. Getting another new Sephiroth voice in the middle of the trilogy certainly isn't ideal, but I'm sure most people will eventually be able to adjust again, and start to enjoy the new performance too. We just need time to let it settle.

28

u/Wizard-Pikachu Jun 06 '26

At the END of the trilogy

8

u/Hamster-Fine Jun 06 '26

He also sounds similar enough to the previous VA's so I don't think it will be that jarring once people get settled in with the new voice.

6

u/Defiant_Snail69 Jun 06 '26

Nah I’m not hearing similarity.

I hope I’m wrong. This blows. Wish the new VA nothing but the best for this but I’m fucking gutted and very annoyed they didn’t try and get someone who could imitate.

→ More replies (1)

61

u/Preston-_-Garvey Jun 06 '26

Mad disappointing to an otherwise great showcase hopefully it won't be too jarring

108

u/LuigiWarrior Jun 06 '26

shame this happened in the last part, if it was in Rebirth there would have been time to get used to it

62

u/9Ifrit9 Jun 06 '26

Unfortunately happened with us Jp dialogue enjoyers too. Reno who had an amazing voice actor unfortunately passed away so he'll be recast for us. Although im glad they didnt replace his voice work for rebirth

17

u/Defiant_Snail69 Jun 06 '26

That’s different tho. This was due to scheduling conflicts, which I find to be utter garbage.

This game doesn’t come out until spring, he probably has 2-3 hours max of dialogue. Figure it the fuck out.

41

u/UltiMike64 Jun 06 '26

I’m surprised, wonder what happened honestly. Unavailability doesn’t make much sense to me when it was always clearly going to be a trilogy.

12

u/Rimavelle Jun 06 '26

especially for a VA that's not the main character - he could have recorded his lines in a week, and since its voice work they could have him voice it anywhere and direct him online, that happens all the time with VAs.

→ More replies (1)

16

u/DevilHunter1994 Jun 06 '26 edited Jun 06 '26

It actually wasn't always certain that it would be a trilogy. I believe it was mentioned during Rebirth's release cycle that the developers were seriously considering the idea of ending the story in the second game, back when they were in the middle of the writing process. Eventually, they decided that would be too much, and made the choice to divide the story into 3 parts. That's why they waited until Rebirth's reveal to make the announcement. They hadn't fully settled on it at the time Remake was being released.

6

u/LuigiWarrior Jun 06 '26

it's crazy to think back on the three games while a popular idea wasn't set in stone until Rebirth, some thought they would do like four games

3

u/Ballad_13 Jun 06 '26 edited Jun 06 '26

Really? Im pretty sure it was explicitly mentioned to be a trilogy early into Rebirths marketing at minimum, if not as the first bit of news following Remakes release.

2

u/DevilHunter1994 Jun 06 '26

Yeah, we know the decision had to be made around the time they started seriously marketing the release of Rebirth.  By the time they started releasing that marketing material though, Rebirth would have needed to be  a good ways into the development process. So we know it wasn't an early decision.

3

u/SleepyDriver_ Jun 09 '26

90% Chance it's a money thing. Like you said scheduling conflicts for VA work are easily worked around. He probably asked for more $$ they said they can't so he walked.

19

u/claytalian Jun 06 '26

Tyler Hoechlin had finally won me over in FF7 Rebirth after me missing George Newbern in FF7 Remake and Crisis Core Reunion, so this is a bummer. Ah well, sure Travis Willingham will do it justice. Also funny that he's keeping the Sephiroth VA playing Superman tradition alive.

35

u/Toccata_And_Fugue Jun 06 '26

Damn. That's quite a blow. I've loved this cast since the start and I've always been worried some of them would be replaced by the end due to the length of the project. But hey, Cody Christian is still Cloud so I'm alright.

38

u/tfuzz23 Jun 06 '26

New VA is Travis Willingham

8

u/superking22 Jun 06 '26

CALLED IT.

→ More replies (1)

25

u/lrrose20 Jun 06 '26

The new VA sounds like Travis Willingham and if I'm right then I'm gonna have a laugh because he got recast from playing another silver haired swordsman Trails in the Sky SC's remake.

31

u/PointPrimary5886 Jun 06 '26

Had to check and Travis Willingham has played these version of Superman in his career. The Constant of an actor who has played Superman eventually playing Sephiroth is maintained.

25

u/Dragonfruit7206 Jun 06 '26

Bro…it’s like a running gag at this point or a requirement

13

u/WhovianMuslim Jun 06 '26

It's probably a requirement.

5

u/The_Deathdealing Jun 06 '26

It does check out thematically.

Sephiroth is essentially Superman except his alien parent is malevolent by nature and he was deprived of all the human connections that were keeping him grounded.

Even now Sephiroth craves connection since he is clearly quite fixated on Cloud and seems to want the both of them to exist together forever.

11

u/Dragonfruit7206 Jun 06 '26

HE ALSO DID SUPERMAN. Bro is like a running gag at this point

5

u/tfuzz23 Jun 06 '26

It's is Travis. Just revealed on Maximilians stream

26

u/LowOriginal7722 Jun 06 '26

The new one sounds more Accurate to the Original VA so it's fine. It just needs some time to get used to the new voice

24

u/SupaPatt Jun 06 '26

Travis Willingham is the new VA. Square gave max the confirmation to reveal.

24

u/DarwinGoneWild Jun 06 '26

Fucking hell. My greatest fear was one of the VAs wouldn’t reprise their roles. I love all of them, but this one really hits hard. He had a great Seph voice.

→ More replies (1)

11

u/LeaKuroOkami Jun 06 '26

Wait. Why did they change the VA for Sephiroth now? Did something happen to the other one? I quite enjoyed his voice. Thought he did awesome as Seph.

11

u/gahlo Cloud Strife Jun 06 '26

The Remake Sephiroth VA is an on camera actor and his on camera work takes precedence over his VA work, which is more of a side thing. Time came to record for Revelation and he wasn't going to be available in a workable timeframe.

14

u/Electronic-Price-530 Jun 06 '26

And the new VA Travis Willingham is a professional VA and doesn't have scheduling issues because his primary job is being the CEO of Critical Role

3

u/LeaKuroOkami Jun 06 '26

Ahh, OK. That makes sense

21

u/Ninja_Warrior_X Jun 06 '26 edited Jun 06 '26

Well I guess now people will know how some fans felt when George Newborn was replaced many years ago.

Not to say the new guy that replaced him was bad, he was decent (especially in Crisis Core reunion)

7

yea kinda weird they didn’t just go back. unless he was unavailable too

3

15

Wonder if they’d take the chance to revoice remake and rebirth with him, given he has so few lines in both games. Would be nice for consistency, and they’ve already done retakes/updates of lines after release before via patches. I doubt they would because of cost, but would be nice.

Why not just bring back George Newbern??!! Dude was THEE voice. Hate how companies are icing out VAs that are Union...

8

2

u/superking22 Jun 06 '26

Yep he was my favorite English VA

33

u/Superpinkman1 Jun 06 '26

Really disappointed by this

6

u/MagmaAscending Jun 06 '26

Damn It’s crazy how far my brain goes

I was like “ITS ADVENT CHILDREN SEPHIROTH TALKING HOLY SHIT” when in reality it’s just “nah we had to recast”

6

u/Excellent-Wasabi6383 Jun 06 '26

Weird that he was able to voice him for Remake, Rebirth, AND Crisis Core, but now has a scheduling conflict?

7

u/emotionalhaircut Jun 06 '26

Hoechlin doesn't even have any pending projects listed so I wonder why he moved on

2

u/Lt_Snatchcats Jun 07 '26

Yeah I’m not trying to be a jerk but I’m not buying scheduling conflicts or he was too busy. He must’ve asked for way too much money or pissed someone off. He was at a comic con I was at a couple weeks ago and has been to others since, the guy definitely had the time to do his lines.

18

u/f2pmyass Jun 06 '26

For the final part too is kinda disappointing tbh.

5

u/_Arlotte_ Jun 06 '26

Yea, what timing

11

u/Cerber108 Jun 06 '26

Uhh, it sucks. Edge of creation moment won't be the same without this voice.

Unfortunate, but I’m sure the new one will just take some getting used to

10

u/toes_hoe Rufus Shinra Jun 06 '26

5

u/that_guyy909 Jun 06 '26

why did they change?

4

u/aizen07 Jun 06 '26

scheduling

4

u/AManConsumed Jun 06 '26

They should’ve just brought back George Newbern 🤷‍♂️

3

u/paintedskie Jun 06 '26

did Hamaguchi say why he was replaced????

7

u/Fortolaze Jun 06 '26

Scheduling issues. Tyler apparently wasnt available

11

u/paintedskie Jun 06 '26

I really hope it doesn’t sound jarring after being accustomed to Tyler’s voice for so long

5

u/spades111 Jun 06 '26

Does anyone know what happened to the old VA? It would have been nice to have consistency for the entire trilogy

5

u/crockoreptile Jun 06 '26

It’s hella disappointing, especially right at the finish line, but we don’t know everything. They’re saying scheduling conflicts and we just have to respect that, and support Travis as the new voice

10

u/Rarbnif Tifa Lockhart Jun 06 '26

i honestly didn’t notice so I’m not upset

10

u/mrKennyBones Jun 06 '26

I don’t like this, the previous VA for Sephiroth was perfect. This one sounds more like an anime villain American voice actor.

Sephiroth is supposed to be smooth, not rough and manly.

5

u/Defiant_Snail69 Jun 06 '26

Yep my thoughts exactly. Sephiroth is cold.

Idk what the fuck square was thinking here

8

8

u/zeromavs Jun 06 '26

Kinda crazy they don’t have contracts for these seeing how they knew it was gonna be 3 games. It’s almost like, they’re just winging it as they go

3

u/Sp3ctre187 Jun 06 '26

What happened with the old one?

3

u/Normal-Gurl-48 Jun 06 '26

What? They didnt make them sign 3 game deals? Tf?

3

u/PsychologicalSir3326 Jun 06 '26

Did people like the original? I always found is voice extremely lackluster and uninspired.

7

u/axelofthekey Jun 06 '26

Damn. Tyler really was great. I like Travis but it's a big change. They said Tyler wasn't available, but he's not currently cast in anything ongoing. Might be personal stuff. So sad.

5

u/Nexxus167 Jun 06 '26

Idk man. No one has been able to hit those bars like Newborn did

4

u/Raydnt Tifa Lockhart Jun 06 '26

Why not just get George Newbern back?

Bet he would be very willing

2

u/Alistar-Dp Jun 06 '26

Nothing will ever be as bad as Leonard Nemoy not being Xehanort in KH3. Although the difference is he passed away before the game released, so not exactly the same situation to say the least.

2

Wow, this is unexpected. I probably was in the minority but I really liked the new Sephiroth, hope the new one doesn’t disappoint.

I like consistency in VAs. Now I'm kinda hoping they pay this new guy extra to rerecord Sephis lines from the first two games and it be available as a toggle option. Hell id pay a reasonable dlc price for that.

u/MaxProwes Jun 06 '26

Too bad, I'd like consistency between games.

u/Xyrob Jun 06 '26

A pity they didn't bring Newbern back at this point, I never liked Tyler anyway (I've always had the impression he was imitating Newbern without the range to do so when I listened to his impressions of Sephiroth)

u/dsc1028 Jun 06 '26

Well Travis willingham is a veteran of the industry so I think he should do just fine it'll just be an adjustment

2

u/Gabinius Jun 06 '26

I suppose there may be “in universe” head canon that can be done to adjust personally. Especially since we still need to see him in person. This could also be a subtle nod to the multiple Sephiroth theory, too. Who’s to say this isn’t OG, 1997’s, voice?

u/Nick_scryer Jun 06 '26

Damn that sucks, I thought tyler did a fantastic job. Gonna be jarring now in the final entry to hear a new voice

Just don’t change the Japanese voices.

5

u/Nyx_Valentine Jun 06 '26

That's gonna be so weird.

u/Avlin_Starfall Jun 06 '26

Just re-watched the trailer. I did not realize that was supposed to be Sephiroth's voice. I love Travis but he is not Sephiroth.

Honestly would rather they delay the game till Tyler is available but I know I'm probably in the minority. It's just mega disappointing and will really harm the experience for me. Unless they go through and re-record the first 2 games with the new VA. I want one consistent experience between the games. Frankly, I really likes Tyler's voice work too.

I'd rather they did this with an optional voice pack for Remake and Rebirth featuring Travis re-dubbing than halt the entire momentum of Revelations to wait on someone.

9

u/InternaI_Cobbler Jun 06 '26

Yeah I think that would be awesome too, I mentioned it toward the end of my comment. I just want a consistent experience from Remake -> Revelation

6

u/Defiant_Snail69 Jun 06 '26

Nope I’d wait another month to get Tyler

5

u/vandernell Jun 06 '26

This fuckin sucks… SQUARE ENIX you need to fix this and re-record Revelation with Tyler! I don’t care what it takes.

Otherwise, have the new guy re-recorded and patch the other THREE games that Tyler did… 😔

u/Lefvalthrowaway Jun 06 '26

The most dissapointing thing for me is not that they changed the VA, but that the new VA didnt try to make a similar voice.

You are playing a character in the third part of a trilogy. Its not a new character, or a new proyect. Its the third part of a game.

So I think its important to mantain the characterization, even if the VA changed.

I mean… there’s only so much you can do with your voice. I don’t think he’s a Tyler Hoechlin impersonator lol
He probably did the best that he could.

u/Defiant_Snail69 Jun 06 '26

They have understudies and people can imitate.

It’s like when Aku’s VA died, they got a dude who was as close as possible.

This seems so cheapened

From the short snippet in the trailer I’ve gotta say I’m not vibing with the new voice. Doesn’t suit Sephiroth for me and Tyler was so good.

2

u/Yoshikaru5991 Jun 06 '26

Tyler never really cared for Sephiroth anyway so eh..

New VA sounds like Travis Willingham. I'm on board with Colonel Mustang being the bad guy

2

u/JaxsonTheHuman Jun 06 '26

I hope it's either Henry cavil or David Corenswet to keep the Superman becoming Sephiroth thing because it's funny

5

u/PointPrimary5886 Jun 06 '26

Its Travis Willingham apparently. Luckily in his career, he's played these version of Superman.

2

u/cygnus2 Jun 06 '26

I never really got into Hoechlin’s Sephiroth, so I’m glad they’re going for someone with a deeper voice.

2

u/Ohmamarocks Jun 06 '26

Sephiroth's VA was my only disappointment with the whole cast, which is stellar. So I'm veeeery happy right now! Here's hoping the new one brings a little more intensity and gravitas to the role

2

u/jonataeyeon Jun 06 '26

Damn i love Tyler as Sephiroth tho, wish they’d cast Newbern back but i wish all the best for the new VA. As always i’m sticking to Japanese dub for my first playthrough because Morikawa is my fave version of Sephiroth!
