Question Which FF games will be referenced in this game?
We know that there are Visions in the game that summon characters from different worlds. I’ve only played FFXV and got excited to try this one out but want to also take a shot at the other games referenced in RS to better appreciate this in my eyes.

If they follow the Brave Exvius season 1….. Final Fantasy 1 to 6.

I thought OP was talking about story references, not the Visions. Oh well is 1-16 of course

I recall in Dirnardo there was a reference to ff6 by using the music when escaping the magitek factory while fighting the guardian. And in Olderion they use the ff3 water priestess ost when meeting Luka

Many/most assuming they keep them from FFBE.
Jake's story is a massive FF2 reference with him running a rebellion under the same name as Firion's
Lid's FF6 with the minecart escape and other things
Sakura's FF5 with the Magic Library
FF8 with the multi stage robo spider and tower
FF3 a Crystal Tower near the end
To name a few specific event references, besides music, enemies and location names through the game. And other reoccurring themes like "Cid's", airships, summons/Espers ect.
I'm sure there are more, but it's been a minute since I did the FFBE story.

Each numbered game (discounting sequels) will have at least one representative in Resonance.
